So, when I'm in "full auxiliary mode" I'm now seeing a check engine light and the battery light. These don't come on when I actually start the Bronco, only in full aux mode. Also, when I stop driving, put it in park and hit the stop button, the engine and everything shuts down, where...
Yep. Just now getting the hang of it as the bag is loosening up a little and I'm getting better at it.
Keys I found:
1. Make sure they are oriented properly. Drivers side on bottom, top down with the curve part on the left side. Push ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK!
2. Locking levers pushed down...
You are correct, the intent was not to accuse Ford of anything. Just wondering if my experience on my Bronco, which I love, is common. My F-150 does it better. Just surprised my 10 year newer Bronco does not.
However, this thread, as have many, sure seems to bring out the Ford apologists. It...
Just hasn’t been my experience with my 2011 F-150.
I don’t mean to say a spring pops it up as soon as it unlatches. Just that, in my F-150, there is at least a little tension on the lid hinge so that it doesn’t just swing freely up and down with no resistance.
Not a life altering issue but...
Interesting. Haven’t had mine out at all but will check to see that it is seated properly.
Mine only stays up with I put it in the exactly vertical position. If even slightly off, it comes slamming down.
Is mine the only center console lid that seems to have absolutely NO spring resistance to help keep it open? Mine pretty much slams back down unless I hold it open.
Anybody else have this?
Your video on the install was great! Just got my Ford performance version. Mine didn't come with the bolts, or the washers, for mounting the brackets to the Bronco. Any idea what the specs are on the correct bolt? The Ford Performance instruction sheet just lists it as "bolt".
