My dealer said the painted hard tops will be existing soft tops cover in paper mache and then painted to match the body color. As soon as the paper machete is in stock, we will be dropping our soft top off at the dealer.
Probably because the Maverick folks haven’t had their vehicle dangled in front of them, like a carrot, for over a year. Then continually get yanked away right as we are about to get it.
Really nice color choice. Love it. I had no idea wraps only last a few years though. I don’t I would want to spend the money every 5 years to re-wrap it.
Yours looks fantastic though.
This is nowhere near as bad as what some of these guys have done to the Gladiator. You would think by now the grumpy grill would be gone. It's as if they let the Tiger King design these things.
I think the wheels and tires are nice. I like that she went with the white lettering on the outside. Aesthetically, my only gripe is they are just a little small for the wheel wells. They almost look like spares. But hey, gas millage is probably pretty good. I'm running out of gas getting to our...
My soft top is already broken so I think you are damned either way you go. I have not been impressed with this soft top design at all. Plastic tabs that hold the sections of together break really easily, the metal cables rub against everything, I can just see these not last very long with a lot use.
Northern California here, I’ve seen three in wild. All 4 door and soft topped. We got ours 3 weeks ago and have been driving it everywhere. My vehicle is usually the weekend family car, but my wife’s Bronco has now taken over that role. The Gladiator is now chopped liver to my family (I still...
I love my bronco, but this is the same crap I ran into with my 4Runner. All the aftermarket stuff is insanely expensive. The aftermarket is still where Jeep wins.
I can buy a top of the line metal cloak suspension with 6-pak shocks for my gladiator for less than 4.5k and I guarantee you the...
My wife wanted to order a new hard top as soon as we could. I told her we should wait until version 3 or 4. I knew they wouldn’t get it all right in this version. The bronco hard top next to my Jeep’s is night and day. Soft tops been good so far. I’ll stick with it for now.
I wish we would have gotten a first edition. Only because it wasn’t much more expensive than our badlands sas loaded up. But we couldn’t have anyways. Even being a second day res, they were already gone.
Otherwise, no. It’s exactly what I was hoping.
What an awesome group of trucks. I'm guessing that gladiator's wheelbase was a little too long for that obstacle. I loved that 2 door Rubicon, but the 4 door straight up looked double jointed. That Metal Cloak suspension on it is unreal. The bronco did very well. I thought you might roll at the...
I have an auto but I would agree that driving a manual is more fun. Personally there is no other benefit, just more fun to throw that stick shift around.
