I have a 2-door Manual Base Bronco. The Hill start assist is terrible, so I turn it off. After every update (I think) Hill start assist gets turned back on. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have not found a way to find out when or what the software version is.
I just pried them off. They just snap over the studs like most small engine sparkplug wires. I have to make new mounts for them because they will not work with the Metal Cloak diff cover.
Nice work. I was thinking of making Molle panels until I found that Molle is not a quick attach system.
How much would not having the Molle holes reduce the price?
My garage is 120 years old and was built for a model T. In the winter 2 door Bronco (sport) lives in the garage as it is toooooo cold to do any work outside. In the summer Nelly lives outside grazing.
Broncos have push pins that, to properly remove the panel requires a "SHARP, Fast pull".
I found that people were breaking the plastic pins on the interior rear plastic panels trying to be "careful".
I have had, seen and heard of a lot of "mechanics" screwing up oil changes. Things that have happened to me include trying to sell me air filters, oil pan cleanings, coolant flushes then telling them NO is a hard thing to do they do not want to hear it). I have also had way to much, not enough...
I just did my 6th oil change @26,000 miles. I have never remove the tire to do the oil change. I use a ratchet oil filter wrench, a 3" and 6" extension. I do not turn the wheel or pull any inner fender hardware out.
I have this front bumper. I was planning on making a front bumper w/winch but ran out of warm weather and needed the winch for the winter.
The next inexpensive winch front bumper I found at the time was 4X what I paid for this one.
