I thought about getting a new set of smaller (wd. and dia.) pizza cutters with for regular commuting but am worried about the ford electronics... does anyone know how to do a swap back and forth for off roading when needed?
The best advice I could give is test drive them at a local dealer before ordering. I actually bought my first one on a whim-- I had a car at the dealer for an oil change. Test drove one on the lot while I was waiting and it was a blast. Even more fun than the Mustang. I bought it right...
The non-Sasquatch big bend 2.7 was a dramatically lighter vehicle even though the physical size was the same. It was very quick stop light to stop light. I P. O. a guy in a Porch at a lane merge :) With the smaller tires it could turn easier in parking lots and zip in and around traffic with...
I owned 2 Broncos.. Both 2 door with the 2.7 engine. The Non-squatch Big Bend averaged 22 mpg over a range of 36,000 miles. 50/50 city highway. The sasquatch with Badlands frame is getting 19.7 average... If I really try I can eek out 19.8, ... Both only used 93 premium gas.
So if...
Sorry I had not responded sooner. Anyways, I hope you were able to find your perfect Bronco? I also bought one off the lot because the one I was waiting for was removed from customer order to dealer inventory only (Heritage Limited). After years of calling and waiting and upfiting the one I...
I was a member of the Oxford White Bronco club until I traded it in on a Robins Egg Blue Heritage limited. (New photo soon) I noticed there was not a club for Heritage Broncos so here goes.... A few questions that I would like to start out with... If anyone has found an answer to them yet??

My Daughter bought a Subaru Forester Wilderness 22 at the same time I bought my Bronco. It is, by far, head and tails better quality with many more features than the Bronco and over 8k less new. Although more practical in every possible way and most likely drive anywhere that i would ever take...
Love your build. I would like to hear the answers to the questions above. We all love the Heritage style but making it your own and a little "one of a kind" is something special. I look forward to seeing others create their own take on the heritage style. Thank you for posting the how and...
I had an FJ Cruiser and it was "Squirrely" at highway speeds. The most notable was during sudden braking. The 2 door Bronco is a whole lot more stable. I have not had any issues at +65MPH speeds and hard braking. High winds do push a little bit but that is similar to any other flat sided...
Bought the OW off the lot because it looked so good. I would have liked the robins egg blue (Only on heritage limited edition) which I could not find a dealer to sell me one without an insanely large markup.
Love my 2 door. Four doors is more practical and will be the envy of every soccer mom in the neighborhood. The 2 door is just plain fun and a joy to drive. This is why we bought a Bronco to begin with. If you want practical, useful, and an all around useful vehicle. Get a minivan!
Wow- I actually read the whole thread through. One thing that came clear. DUCKS are a Jeep thing. A simple sign in the window "NOT A JEEP" should be enough to prevent any unwanted duckings?
