  1. Bronco Bolts part numbers

My dealership parts dept found 4 of the part numbers so far. W721176-S450B = outside mirror (small head) W721178-S450 = outside mirror (large head) - haven't tried yet but these seem to be the ones to use for license plate fasteners W721186-S450 = door nets & grab handles W721180-S450B = mod...
  2. Trail Sight = " Handle " in the parts system

Ha I didn't break it. I'm trying to get a bag of each type of the Bronco bolts so that I have spares when I drop one in the grass or strip the torx splines, or for when Ford decides it costs too much & switches to plain head fasteners. Parts dept is having trouble finding the Bronco bolts for...
  3. Just curious, how many miles did your bronco have when you picked it up at dealer??

Mine had 13. Delivered in NJ. It drove off the line to a waiting lot, then drove to a rail yard, drove onto the rail car, off the rail car to a waiting lot, drove onto a carrier, drove off the carrier to the dealer lot, drove from the lot to service, drove to prep, drove to the gas station...
  4. Driving Bronco without Beauty ring?

Hey! Good question - I never thought about it before reading your post, but if it isn't on the vehicle it can't get broken, scratched or hung up on an obstacle. If it isn't needed, take it off!
  5. Trail Sight = " Handle " in the parts system

Hi! I visited my regular Ford Parts guy Fred yesterday with a laundry list of stuff for my Bronco. If you need a replacement trail sight, when you go to the parts dept ask for the "handle" - the service part name is different than the marketing description.
  6. Bronco Bolts part numbers

BSB0001U is the part number for the bag, not the contents.
  7. GMRS radio mount location?

Hi! Looking for pics and tips from thise who've "been there done that" and installed a gmrs radio - I'm looking at the Midland 40 watt. I can't find a good place to mount it without ripping out the glove box door or center console lid.
  8. Bronco Bolts part numbers

Hi - looking for the part numbers and thread gauge sizes for the Bronco bolts. Anyone? :) Thanks
  9. The V8... Let's talk about it

Here's my take... I am fortunate enough to have possession of my 2021 2.7 2 door, as well as my 1996 Bronco XLT with the 5.8. The 5.8 with it's Borla exhaust sounds nice, but the 2.7 Ecoboost beats it all around. In about a year when there are wrecked 2.7 Broncos in the local pull-your-own I...
  10. Is anyone debadging or rebadging their Bronco?

I think Ford's branding/marketing team had a complete fail when I look at my FE... BRONCO on the grill in white. Chrome Ford oval on the back, and black Bronco emblem on back. 3 different branding IDs is a fail on marketing class 101. I am not changing anything though. The mismatched badges...
  11. Anyone else having issues with SiriusXM today?

Wasn't driving today, but the same thing happened twice with my 2018 Fusion (Sync3). After trying different things, I let Sirius do its thing with the volume down. After about 30 minutes there was a brief message about an update being complete, and then it was fine.
  12. No Assembly Line Photo :(

My pic shows the that the grill guard hoop is missing. Anyone know if this item is installed by the dealer?
  13. My bronco is covered in rock chips already. DIY mod to avoid rock chips

I agree, ditch the factory sasquatch tires... my FE is a total rock thrower. In my 30 years of driving Fords with gnarly tires I've never had one this bad with throwing rocks.
  14. 120v power port not working

Thank you. Thanks to all who commented - I am going to check ALL power points for function, and am confident now that I can make a dealership warranty appointment for the bum 120VAC outlet without looking like an idiot who didn't know how to use it.
  15. 120v power port not working

Yup, that's exactly what I saw in the manual. I crawled in the back (which is no small feat for me :) ) and didn't see any indicator lights. My manual says that it is on underhood fuse 36, I pulled the fuse and it wasn't blown.
  16. 120v power port not working

It was a Milwaukee cordless tool battery charger. E=IR says it draws 330 watts. Vehicle was at idle a the time so the plug should handle 400 watts, so says the manual.
  17. Known Cargo Dimensions (so far) for 2-Door and 4-Door Broncos

The 2 door cargo area is small. SMALL. S-m-all. I ordered the weathertech cargo area protector before taking Bronco delivery, opened the box, and thought they sent the wrong protector... hey, if I have to haul stuff I can fold the back seats. I can't see anyone riding back there either...
  18. 120v power port not working

Hi - no no, this is not the USB or "cigar lighter" port - it is the 120v AC aka "house outlet"... I appreciate your responses, makes me think to check all of the cigar.lighter plugs and USB ports.
  19. 120v power port not working

Hi! Tried the 120v power port on the back of the center console for the first time, no power. Searched the Sync manual and read the paper manual, both mention an indicator showing whether the port is on, off, or in fault mode. On and off indicator makes me think there is a switch, but the...
