  1. Will Bronco hold resale value like Jeep JL? Amazing numbers.

Other reasons I see for Wrangler resale. I was out driving a nice spring day in a wealthy suburb. Must have seen 20 Wranglers and one Bronco. I get people are still waiting for Broncos, but the Wrangler has become a status symbol for the upper-middle class on up like the G-Wagon for the super...
  2. Will Bronco hold resale value like Jeep JL? Amazing numbers.

Actually, the JL 2 door only lost 7.3% of value form 2018-2022 when everything was in the Covid market frenzy. #1 resale value in the country compared to all other vehicles. I knew the JL was good, but this is really good. Hoping for the same with the Bronco. If the economy really tanks, sure...
  3. Will Bronco hold resale value like Jeep JL? Amazing numbers.

These are some amazing stats from 2022. Jeep Wrangler JL 2 door only loses 7.3% of value over 5 years. 4 door increased in value by 2% over 3 years of ownership. We are seeing the big asking over MSRP of the Bronco disappear. Will it hold its value in coming years like the Jeep JL does...
  4. How do we turn off data sharing?

Yeah, smartphones are even worse. Anybody who wants smartphone privacy needs to get a Pixel, wipe Android and flash GrapheneOS. Actually not that hard. No Google apps to track you. You can set it up to only use non-tracking apps. Can still be tracked by cell tower triangulation, but can always...
  5. How do we turn off data sharing?

Yep. Unless the privacy policy specifically states turning off Fordpass will disable all tracking, you are being tracked. GPS no doubt. They want to know if you went to the golf range 3 times this week to sell that data to advertisers. I'm not even sure pulling a fuse will do it as Ford probably...
  6. Replacing factory bumper with modular bumper

I see most posting have plastic bumpers. At least some models have steel, but the "capable" steel bumper is not very capable. It can take a winch, but a lot more work than the modular, and it does not have the screws for aftermarket lights, bull bar, etc. Ford really took it to Jeep with the...
  7. How do we turn off data sharing?

This is big $$$ for Ford. Selling your personal data. If they are not already doing it, AI on mics to record conversations to sell that data to advertisers. "Honey, let's buy a new washing machine"... while driving along. And for those who say they don't care about privacy or don't have...
  8. Side panel rust

My white Bronco is fine and I have not heard much of this is issue unless others chime in. Seems like a one off. You'd figure Ford would get it right with that $1,800 Bronco delivery fee....
  9. Cheap interior, build quality for $70k

I'm OK with the build quality of my under $40k BD. For $70k I'd be a bit more concerned. On the other hand, my sister has a $75k Defender. Great looking vehicle with great looking interior quality. Engine and electronics also always break down.
  10. Window not going up

Yes, the "relearning" steps worked. Thanks to the person who posted that! We'll see how it goes. Still love the vehicle, but this is Ford's first attempt at a Jeep style vehicle in decades. They had the MIC issues and I made sure I got 2.0 and that is fine. We'll see how the 7MT rattle goes when...
  11. Window not going up

Yeah. Obviously a pretty big concern. What I have found for now is each time I get into the Bronco I need to roll down the window a bit and roll it back up to fix the issue. Needless to say, this is not ideal. I'll get it to the dealer, but I have read people posting this concern even before it...
  12. Window not going up

OK, 2022 BD. Bought used with just 10k on it. Have put only 700 miles on it over a couple of months. Window is not going up when door is closed. Yes, door is fully closed. Does not do that last 1/4 inch it is supposed to. Dash does not say door is open. Obvious from rattle and wind noise and...
  13. Rear Ended at ~20MPH - Minimal damage!

Glad everyone and Bronc is OK. Interesting in that I wonder if the plastic bumper on the BB was able to flex and remold whereas a metal bumper on BD or BL might dent/scratch. Have no idea, but I hope the metal (lower portion) of my BD rear bumper would do just as well.
  14. First Scratch on the New Bronco

I pay more for zero deductible comprehensive insurance for rock chips/cracks on windshield glass and jealous idiots. And if I never have to use it fine, but I am sure these windshields with cameras are not cheap to replace.
  15. Rivian shocks with R2, R3, R3X reveals! $45K starting price, 0-60 under 3 secs, 300+ miles range, NACS port

It looks kind of like the last Saab 9-5 GM built before Saab went under. That being said, it is also not as ugly as a lot of EVs out there. A little retro. A little bland.
  16. Worried about the Bronco Engines now….

Let's say it like it is. A service bulletin has been out on the 2.3 MT for rattling/grinding sound below 40 degrees on start and particularly in neutral, and more than a few on this forum have had the 5th and 6th gear synchros replaced under warranty or the entire trans replaced under warranty...
  17. New Bronco 2.3 weird rattle/rotating noise when idling

Ya know, it's a known fact the 2.3 (especially manual) has been proven to rattle or even grind. We have a new owner noticing this. I too was pissed when I noticed this below 40 degrees. Now we have posters basically saying a Ford production/quality control issue is AOK. GMAFB.
  18. United by Broncos 2024 event photo dump. Post yours! 📸

Your Bronc looks great all around. Really like the white trim around the hood bulge. Not sure I like the black wrap over the entire bulge on the WT, but since I have a white BD, got me thinking about some matte black vinyl wrap around the sides of the bulge (or whatever it is called) to give a...
  19. Show me your 20's

I see they put those big wheels on an OBX in one pic. Ford knew a lot of people would buy the Bronco for its off-road looks and never take it off-road -- which is fine as people should get what they want. The OBX is the on-road friendly Bronco with painted flares, leather, plastic bumpers, less...
  20. Show me your 20's

16s with 285/75 is a really good look and upgrade on a standard Bronco. That's a 34" tire on 16s and with a 2" lift looks great.
