How the fuck does a vehicle get that fucked up when it's only in for an initial oil change?
Why was it being driven on the street? It's not one of those urban dealerships with multiple building in different locations, is it? Cause I've had to deal with that bullshit.
WHAT THE FUCK.
Buy it, resell it. You will make money on it and someone will be happy to have one. WIN WIN.
You will be able to drive it to ANY Ford lot (or competitor!) and get what you want.
Or list it online.
I like that look a lot.
I'd want to get white fenders and a top, too to complete it.
I like the standard painted aluminum Outer Banks wheels, but white steel wheels is classic.
CONGRATULATIONS!
I'm not too much younger than you, and it took me a while, too.
BUT...
You will get very used to the electronics soon enough and it will be second nature.
Use the SYNC voice command to change the radio station.
I can't believe people had to have "turn on the accessory power to the vehicle without starting the engine in order to lower the windows" explained to them...
Make sure when they casually ask you how many miles you drive, tell then well under 12K a year. That is one of the ways they price out the Extended Warranty and Prepaid Maintenance plans.
