I have two recalls on my '23 OBX. One for the rear camera and the other for the rear shocks. I'm not have any issues with the camera and as far as I can see, the shocks are fine as well. I don't plan to have either of these addressed any time soon, especially since they will not be replacing...
Have you done any Ford on-line surveys lately? I recently did one after 2 years ownership of the Bronco and at the end it said that they may contact me for further info, or more likely, try to sell me a new one!
Were you able to install the new badges in the same location as the original sticker or did you need to drop it down a bit? The fender has a slight curve up at the top, so a rigid badge would not lay flat. I saw that was a complaint some had when reading the reviews.
Thanks.
Same thing happened to me. Got stung multiple time before I realized what was going on. I was so pissed I jumped into the car and went to HD to get wasp spray. One of the little bastards was in the side of my boot and stung me while in the car!
Happed two other times when I inadvertently...
I'm surprised that they didn't start out replacing the water pump, then the radiator, then something else before saying the engine was shot. Unless of course they knew that the cheaper fix would have solved the problem and wanted to really screw you. Like others have already said, get another...
Had one on my '84 Pontiac Grand Prix. A truck kicked up a piece of wood and sent it flying across 3 lanes and hit the antenna turning it into a pretzel. Good thing the antenna was up, otherwise it would have come right through the windshield.
Just get a set of torx+ bits and a socket set if you don't already have them. As mentioned, the door locator pins are probably the only unique item you'll need if planning on removing the doors. You can get a whole set on Amazon here as well as edge protectors
When I remove the center roof panel I place it on top of the back cap and lift both off at the same time. The longest they were on the lift was probably a week, but I see no reason why you couldn't keep them on indefinitely, the jack is very solid. These were originally design for the Jeep...
I've gotten a crack or chip in every windshield of every car/truck I have ever owned. What's your reaction when you get a ding in the door while parking at the mall?
You need to just get a bicycle.
I agree that the rear could be a little sketchy using a bottle jack, but the blocks of wood are still the best way, just get a cheap adapter like this one Here
I use a few pieces of 1 x 6's, cut to about 8" long stacked under the jack to give it extra lift. Any wide boards will do. I use them under the factory jack...works perfectly lifting without fully extending the jack.
When I placed my order back in 2021, the dealer printed out the DORA ( Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement) and had me confirm that all the options I wanted were correct and part of the order. I got the confirmation e-mail from Ford within minutes of him placing the order. The DORA also...
