I was told to ask the tire guys to keep bringing out KO2's from the back till they can get it to balance with less than .5-1 OZ of weights.... not sure if that qualifies in this discussion.
HA-ha I was just coming here to start a similar thread. my Badsquatch has seemed to lose some ground clearance after installing appx 150# of winch and bumper, 4-600# in people and 200# of recovery gear and misc. stuff in the back. i want to avoid a lift and bigger tires until enough folks have...
Thats awesome! I spent 35 minutes last time out on 4x35" 18 to 38psi. that sucked. Just got the single cylinder mentioned above and tested last night, 1 tire in 3:30.
these are very interesting. I wonder about covering up the gussets near the round holes so as not to get hung up on them underneath . Also have you tested full weight on these yet for bending?
I put mine on this weekend as well. However I did not extend the parking sensors thinking I would be turning them off. Well... I am still getting error messages at start up!! Very irritating.
Has anyone noticed the SASQ models being difficult to steer in reverse? one finger turns seem to be impossible or at least difficult. maybe the pump is based off stock tire sizes?
Thanks for the info, I believe I will turn off front parking sensors since I only back into stuff. :)
but diving under braking was a problem with my 4runner. hoping this is light enough to avoid that.
My Winch plate will be here tomorrow. did you notice or measure any front droop after install?
trying to decide on either owned heavier winch or a new lighter one. =)
Ok, I think I get it, so of the 3 un-powered wires under the hood, i have to pick one that goes to glove box and then attach that one to the wire going to the back of rig thanks.
Interior lighting sucks!
I am planning a LED strip from the right hand rear quarter panel pre-run non-powered aux switches.
Wire is supposed to be white/orange. but I can only find 3 of these pre-run wires under the hood.
anyone done this yet? and will adding a hard top later interfere with...
