I don’t have an extra large so no idea if it would fit. I am out of town otherwise I could measure. There isn’t more than 3-4 inches on either side of the large kennel so if the extra large is longer than 6-8” I doubt it would fit crosswise. Most likely have to fold down backseat.

I have the Ruff Land large with side door, fits perfectly and side door allows my Lab to jump right in. I strap down the kennel to protect my dog in the event of an accident.

So most traction board mfg. offer a bag. Keep them in the cargo area until needed or strap to spare tire when off roading, ski trip, or hunting/fishing. If they get used put in bag and mount to spare w ratchet strap or return to cargo area. Still own my 2dr Rubicon, never had an issue...
