A few months ago someone shared a video where they drove a 4Runner into a sand...
Did you take CA58 from Bakersfield to Mojave? How did it do on that hill climb? Also around Mojave it always seams windy, how did it do in a cross wind?
Thanks
I'll second the HF, Daytona jack. If you can wait until black Friday, the price might come down. The down side to this jack it might not have enough lift for the Bronco. It only has a 20 in lift.
For doing oil changes you might want to check into a set of ramps. I use them when changing the...
I was doing some off road exploring in Death Valley a few years ago, everything was just fine. On this trip I didn't see anyone else for 12 hours. Drove back to the camp site, shut the truck down for the night (turned everything off). The next morning super dead battery, I guest something inside...
I know a lot of you put your reservations down a long time ago and when you did you spoke to your dealers about pricing. At the time dealers were saying all kind of things like no ADM, we will take x plan pricing, and we will be x% under invoice. Now that these trucks are starting to show up (or...
If your going to get one of these buy one where the platform/basket is one piece. I got one from pepboys where the basket is made up of a left and right piece that you bolt together. After several years its starting to sag. All the bolts are tight, maybe its just cheap metal.
I was at Fab Fords over the weekend, Ford had one on display. As for the name I think they should have brought back the ranchero, since this is more car like then tuck like. I am kind of surprised that they didn't based this on Bronco Sport. Isn't that the platform of the future?
Wish I could...
I have a noco gb40. I had a dead battery in my f250 (v10) started it up no problem. It has also come in handy over the last year, since covid I haven't been driving that much.
Things like the club and these cat locks can be defeated, but it also deters people that just want an easy job on stealing something.
BTW: do you really want a skid plate over the cat? Don't those things run hot, won't all the heat end up in the cab?
Didn't see this thread until today, when the broncos came though a few weeks ago they had a black OB. The drive side door had 2 dents, right where the hinges are. Looks like someone tried to open the door more then it it want to go.
I don't really see this competing against the Bronco Sport, but more with the Bronco. Its not that much bigger. The tow rating is higher, I know a lot of people want to tow something bigger. They both use the same 2.3 engine, but the Explorer has 300 hp vs 270 hp. Maybe the Explorer might check...
Not a bad video. As for the top, I live in North Cal, I do a lot of camping/wheeling in the Sierras, Mojave and in Nevada. These areas have perfect weather, yet I can't remember the last time I saw a jeep with the top off, let alone the doors. I know this site has a lot of one percenters where...
I can just see it now, it is 2am, you are out in the NV desert with your area 51 bronco, sleeping in that shiftpod tent. Being woken up, by someone that thinks they found a downed ufo.
