Mentioned this briefly here. Turns out that when they pull it off in the shop, the push pins get destroyed. I went from a flare that was just a centimeter off the body (not ideal but livable) to this:
And it'll stay like that for a week or more while they wait for the push pins to get into...
Crazy -- my Braptor is at the dealer for the same fender flare issue. Happened in a different scenario though--just baja running and nailed a deeper rut than expected--heard a pop. Hoping they can get it reattached without too much trouble.
Where did you get those shackles--are they code orange? (Wish I would have seen this just a bit sooner... Code Orange shackles anyone? | Bronco6G - 2021+ Ford Bronco & Bronco Raptor Forum, News, Blog & Owners Community )
I'm on the lookout for ones in code orange or at least close enough to it. In case anyone is wondering--this is not it:
Amazon.com: AUTMATCH Shackle Hitch Receiver 2 Inch with 3/4" D Ring Shackle and 5/8" Trailer Hitch Lock Pin, 45,000 Lbs Break Strength Heavy Duty Receiver Kit for Vehicle...
Nice! Is that AGM? If so, we've basically got the same rig (I didn't get the graphics.) If you don't mind me asking, who are you using for PPF and are you going with matte/satin finish?
Totally going to copy this. The other one that I'm thinking about is the "Raptor" on the 3rd break light that's visible from the rear view mirror--that in code orange would be a nice touch.
Anyone know where to get code orange paint for something like that?
@JTopsUSA - I'm wanting to go with the US flag option. Have you got pictures of ones installed IRL (even if on a Jeep)? I'm trying to decide between the Subdued, Tactical, and Full Color. Also, which would be the most transparent?
Can I get some details about the "Dense Titanium"? Is thicker? Harder to see through?
My Raptor didn't come with sound-deadening headliner and I'm wondering if this would have any sound-deadening properties?
