Dogs with dog fur that gets stuck to the carpet maybe. That's why I was looking for a washout interior and for the days that we may get in a pop-up rain storm with the top off. Seems reasonable to me. Certainly no reason for some of the people (not @ you) to act the way they have towards the OP.
So how do we find out if the black diamond and badlands will have a true washout interior or if there will be carpet in the back? Just trying to figure out if I need to start looking at other trim levels.
So it sounds like badlands and black diamond will not have a true washout interior as there will be carpet in the rear cargo area. May be back to the drawing board as far as which level to choose for me. I was wanting the washout interior to put the dog in the rear cargo area but that does not...
So I understand that those seats (pictured) are leather, but will the vinyl seats also have carpet in the rear cargo area. If there is carpet back there, then that defeats the purpose of the washout interior in my opinion.
Are the production models of the badlands and black diamonds going to have carpeting in the rear cargo area? That seems to defeat the purpose of the washout interior.
I have already switched mine to Stephens. I have shopped the deal around to many local Ford dealers including the largest volume dealer in Florida (Bartow Ford Company). Most have not responded. Bartow did respond and were quite nice and professional about it saying that they would be happy to...
How is this advantageous? I am in the same boat. I don't think I need front lockers, so I am going with the black diamond. However, if 4a is not too much compared to the advantages it offers, I will consider it.
I can not believe that there are no southeast dealers that are wanting to take a chunk of this business. Looks I will be buying a one way plane ticket to West Virginia next year.
I am going to be changing mine to Stephens. I am coming from Florida. If I fly into Charleston WV, is there a place I can rent a vehicle where I can drop the vehicle off @StephensAutoCenter . I am assuming thats the closest airport (according to Google).
