When I researched trails in Colorado and Utah I used traildamge.com and bushducks. It usually was pretty accurate and showed pictures of the obstacles.
I would wait. I think your wife will be happier. I was in the same boat and got her to wait until the bronco came out. She fell in love and I have kept her in bronco videos so she wouldn’t stray. I like jeeps a lot. It’s just not a great all around rig in my opinion. I like the idea of the...
I have a noise in the front that I haven’t chased down yet but its nothing major. . Rides great for a solid axel and the wife loves it. So much better ride off road then any truck I have been in. Traded my trd pro tundra for it. My skid plates made constant noise on the tundra off road...
Pretty sweet. Rams interior is way better then fords. Reliability would go to ford. I am in my first ram and it was a roll of the dice as most people I know have had issues. I wanted front and rear lockers with electronic disconnect And a winch so ram was the only option.
4 door will keep its value better then 2 door. The 2 door bronco will sell more then the 2 door wrangler because it should ride a lot better. These things will ride great with the independent suspension system. The roof supposedly can handle only 150lbs so not a lot of space to put stuff...
I don’t think a lift will be cheap. By the looks of it, it seemed like the rear had coil overs as well. If you want 35’s, Sasquatch would be the way go. I want 37’s but I am not quite sure how to go about it yet.
Looks sweet!! Bigger tires always look better. I totally understand The argument about a daily driver, better gas milage, or cheaper when you have to buy a new set. I wouldn’t go bigger then 37’s because of price but maybe go bigger once the kids are gone.
I have not found a good car sales man that actually cares so none of this matters to me. Not saying there isn’t a good honest sale man or woman out there. I used to maintain the ford deal ships in town and I have sat through some of their training videos. There end goal doesn’t have your...
I would think it would be easiest with the manual base. A shop in town had a lot of trouble getting all the computer do dads to work on the Fj. They ended up cancelling some stuff out but it took them a long time to get it figured out. I would wait until a shop gets the computer stuff...
I have a 2008 Fj cruiser and decided to buy a tundra when my Chevy Silverado got totaled. 2017 trd pro. Beautiful truck but it wasn’t a fully boxed frame and when taking it off road or just going up my curb it would constantly creek from the frame tweaking and skid plates moving. I am sure...
I wouldn’t pull over 2,000 lbs with it. Gas Truck ratings to me should be cut in half. Yes it can pull the full amount but I won’t. I like to keep up with traffic and not be the slow Polk holding up the line. I also like to have passing power. Everything changes at seal level and I live...
Your welcome. Check out the nobos I posted earlier. Has a roof top tent for 2 and can sleep 2 in the trailer as well as haul 1 atv. I lean towards the nobos but both are pretty sweet.
