I am getting a bit concerned around the optional wheels on the Badlands. In some of thr walkaround videos the optional non sasquatch wheels for BL were going to be beadlock capable still. My plan all along was to get those optional wheels, and convert to beadlocks down the road when we start...
2 door and Lux here. But also wanting the. modular top. My dealer can't tell me how many reservations they have or their allocation, let alone where I fall. Pretty much accepted we will end up with a 2022, especially with a day 5 reservation.
I'll likely switch dealers as these guys have been...
Some of you have never worked on anything from the 80's through the mid 90's during the OBD1 EFI adoption and it shows. I'll take that over the rats nests of vacuum lines mixed in with excessive wiring and redundant sensors any day of the week.
Some of us have been fabricating and wheeling our rigs hard for decades, and can see a glaring miss when it presents itself. At least this one is out in the open, but unfortunately it's out in the open.
Those rear shock mounts on the axle tube are some of the saddest lower shock mounts I have ever seen. Not only do they hang low, they stick forward, flare out, and they aren't even boxed. The rear lower shock mounts on both my 4Runner and Land Cruiser take an absolute beating in the rocks, and...
Some of us are buying this for our significant others, so yes I fully agree with you. She was definitely a little bummed, but every delay is gets us closer to buying it outright, so she's OK with it. The only question still lingering for her, is will the modular top be late availability 2021.
Will definitely be getting the rails on our 2 door. We haul kayaks and/or mountain bikes with our 4Runner, my biggest concern will still revolve around just fitting everything we haul in the vehicle. Will likely pull one rear seat permanently, to make the room for the fridge and gear, and use...
That is actually more space than I was expecting to see, that will work just fine. We only have one child, and she will be 6 by the time we get our Bronco. Shouldn't be any issue at all.
Every new vehicle launch comes with compromises in the 1st model year, so this is nothing new. My biggest frustration stems from all of the vehicles Ford has been parading around, showcasing color patterns and options that arent available. My second biggest frustration is having to go all the...
Depends on what you consider overkill. Wife's everyday driver and our family wheeler/overlander is a 2015 4Runner Trail Premium, on Bilstein 6112/5160's, 33's, some armor, and other small mods. That's what we take family camping and fishing, to the sand dunes, and long distance mild wheeling...
Be honest, some features that are standard on our 2015 4runner not even being available on the Bronco is a little disappointing. The Heated windsheild rests work great here in Chicagoland, really not sure why more manufacturers don't go that route. Bummer that we will lose those to go to the Bronco.
My wife is the one who will be driving it most of the time, she wants it more than I do. She daily drives our family wheeler/camping rig right now, which is a mildly built 2015 4runner. Our daughter is old enough to get herself into her car seat on her own, so we are aiming for a 2 door with...
