I'm puzzled that so many are upset that there's a charge for bringing a guest. This experience is all extra. Ford didn't have to make an off roading experience available for free, or at all. It costs a lot of money to set up events like this; no one should be surprised that there are some fees...

If Ford is sending a boilerplate email to everyone at the same time, I find it hard to believe it will include a delivery estimate that is individualized to each of our orders. This leads me to believe that we are going to get bad news en masse

It must be an auto since the the 2.7 cannot be matched with the manual. I wonder if it is the tow package holding it up. Could also be the MIC top that comes with the 2 door. Those are both commodity constraints I think.

It seems unreasonable to me to expect a truly extreme off-roading experience at a corporate-sponsored event. This looks more like an attempt by Ford to introduce some basic off-roading experiences to a broad class of Bronco buyers. For what it is, it looks fun to me.

I got one too. Made me wonder if my order never got entered, but then I realized that the reason was more likely Ford's complete lack of awareness.
