Well, I pulled the trigger. 4-door Badlands with Granger. Hopefully I can talk the business partner up from a Black Diamond. Late Q1, early Q2 2022 will help the process. Holding on to my local reservation until I can test drive a 2.3 Ranger and a 2.7 F150.

I have been considering Granger’s October offer. I was hoping Folsom would come through with Xplan or invoice. Will have to check Serramonte if they are doing 500 below MSRP. Assuming $1200 in shipping, Granger is $800 below invoice if you live in NorCal.
All new houses after 2020 will have solar. It’s getting cheaper every day to add storage. New inverters are starting to integrate EV charging capability from the get go so the additional load on the grid should not be as great as first perceived.

While not buying this truck for high mph, it is a factor in the decision. This is especially true when trying to decide between the 2.3 and the 2.7.

My reservation also defaulted to Folsom Ford. When I spoke with them, they said no ADM, only MSRP and would not make a definitive statement on xplan. Looks like they have changed their position for the better. I am waiting for B&P. If they won’t honor xplan or better, then I will switch dealers.
on our Atlas, you just touch the outside of the handle. Generally close the driver door and tap the second row door as I walk away. Also very convenient when carrying two kids and their assorted bags.
I am willing to travel anywhere from Redding to LA Metro for a group buy like Granger. Adding 2000 miles the first week of ownership is a disincentive for me switching to Granger.
