WTF? Is he/she on a cruise around the world? My last multiple week vacation was visiting my family in Ireland in '99. I'm lucky if I take one full week off now.
Mine shipped on the 19th, and I got the email yesterday morning. I've already started tracking the rail car multiple times a day. In Walbridge, OH as of yesterday.
I don't do the reviews at the end of the customer service calls as my understanding is that they are reflected on the customer service agent you deal with on the call. All of the customer service agents I have dealt with have been professional and sympathetic to my frustration. Unfortunately...
I, I can't believe it! Is it true?! Can it really be happening?! Called Ford CS. I've just been updated to shipped as of today! I was even given a rail car number! Of course there's no status on the rail car yet, but it's something.
I experienced something similar back in January. Went from in production to shipped on 1/29 and back to in production on 1/31. Then stayed that way until going to built on 6/17.
Probably a Tesla. It's two years to the day since my reservation, and I'm still waiting. I got my VIN on 10/28/21. You can see all of the shit Ford has put me through in my signature. As of yesterday, my build still hasn't shipped.
Congratulations to all on your recent good news!
I on the other hand, am still stuck in a lot in Michigan awaiting shipment four weeks after it updated to built. I wouldn't expect anything less. Oh and to really rub salt in the wound, it was two years ago today that I plucked down my $100...
So I'm closing in on two years since I put down my $100 for my reservation. It has now been 723 days (7/14/20). It has also been 506 days since I placed my initial order (2/16/21). Still waiting. I have no confidence that any date/deadline we are given will be met.
Hey, @Ford Motor...
So, when I initially went into production, I bought a number of add-ons (LEDs pods for the bumpers, safari bar, console safe, front plate relocation bracket). Spent around $1k. Once it went into microchip hold, I stopped buying any extras. I figured why buy stuff that I may end up never...
It states so in the NHTSA look up:
"FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS AUTHORIZED YOUR DEALER TO HAVE THE WINDSHIELD REMOVED AND REINSTALLED USING STANDARD SERVICE PROCEDURES, FREE OF CHARGE PARTS AND LABOR."
Ok, so I was moved to built on 6/17. Haven't seen any movement since so I called Ford CS this morning. They confirmed that my Bronco is released but still in MI awaiting shipment with an EDD window of 8/6-8/12. I've got a family vacation beginning on the 12th, so I hope it comes sooner...
