Several folks are reporting a clunk in the rear when releasing the break pedal, wonder if this could be related? I have the rear end clunk but no vibration at highway speeds, I'll check mine anyway to be sure.
Mine is an all stock OBX. 8800 miles, noticed this issue recently. Could be a rear end issue, but to me feels like hill assist letting go. Anyone have a GoPro they could mount pointed at the differential area and test drive? Maybe see what’s happening externally when letting off the brakes.
This happened to me in my old T-Bird, I was tooling down the highway, no one around me, went under an overpass, windshield destroyed, much like your hit. Scared the crap out me when it hit.
I have a ‘22 OBX with 8400 miles on it, with leather, front seats are all power and we find them very comfortable. We just did about 500 miles in a day trip last week and didn’t feel the need to stop and get out to stretch our legs. These seats and the ride are far better than the Bronco Sport...
To be clear with my comment, 85 fuel is designed for flex fuel vehicles. I owned an Explorer that was flex fuel and running E85 wasn't worth it. There was a noticeable difference.
Also, I have also never been discouraged from buying or driving a vehicle because of gas prices.
I got the notice in the mail, but haven't followed up. Be a while before I take mine in for it, same goes for the child locks.
UPDATE: I just checked and both of my recalls still show up.
