Ha! I kept my 2018 Sierra for “truck duties” when I bought my Bronco. I had some things to take to the dump and thought I would just drive it today and switch back. Nope. I went straight home and switched back right way I missed it so much.
I agree the power train can handle it. That’s not the issue. In addition to the jet skis, I have a 27 ft pontoon boat. It has over 500 pds of tongue weight and the Bronco DID NOT like that. I kept my Sierra just to tow the boat. A lot of tongue weight on a short wheel base vehicle is no bueno.
For what it’s worth I have towed two sea doos (approximately 2k pds w trailer) with the manual. No problem. The 10spd auto would be much better for towing closer to the 3500lbs limit.
I have a 2026 with a 7MT. I have zero regrets with my purchase. It’s a blast to drive. The 7MT has some not so well known tech built into it that makes some of the PITA things about daily driving a manual easier. The biggest is that when you let out the clutch, the ECU bumps the RPMs momentarily...
Driving habits, geographic location have a lot to do with it. I do a lot of highway driving. That in of itself will increase the likelihood of a crack no matter what you are driving. I make sure to change lanes when I get behind a dump truck or any type of vehicle or trailer where crap is going...
The gloss top comes with the Black Package. If you try and order the matte PPF from the factory, it wont let you configure the black package. Only allows for the MIC top. Did the PPF aftermarket for a work around. I’ll take it off-road some but not as much as I would want. Two small kids playing...
2026 Big Bend w Black Diamond and Black Package.

I 100% agree. Just did my first oil change on my 2.3. If “hand tight” is the spec for putting the oil filter on, an 800 pound gorilla must do this job at the factory. I love how days later the drip shute is still dripping oil in my garage.
1. Mine is a 2026 so hopefully I have a few months before it cracks.
2. I’m not seeking the affirmation of the minivan dad. He is just jealous.
3. It’s shaped like a toaster…of course mileage sucks
4. I spent 6 months obsessing over the details of my build. It looks badass and I love it.
5. I...
Well it finally arrived! 2026 BB w BD and Black Package. Manual Trans. Added 1.25” level, 285/75/17 BFGs, Hertz audio and Stinger tailgate sub upgrade. Absolutely love it!
I was getting worried because one email said there was a production delay they were “working through” ugh
Well I hope you get yours soon! Those Raptors are sick. I’ll post some pics. Planning to do tires and a stealth PPF.
Wanted to see if anyone can give some advice around receiver hitch clearance under the spare tire. I have a 2026 Bronco BB non SAS on order.I am planning to put 285/75/17s on as a day one upgrade from the Black Diamond 265/70/17s that are stock. I will also be towing a small boat and have a...
The size and sales volume of the dealer matters also. The more volume they turn the more allocation which means being able to order inventory more frequently. The biggest variable like you mentioned is base trim and options. Ford will tool the line for Big Bends far more often than Raptors for...
It seems like that might be true. At least one other response said theirs was scheduled for that week also. There were a LOT of 2025s to clear out so that may actually be one of the first 2026 runs. Akins Ford in Winder GA is where I purchased mine. One of the largest dealers in the country and...
