I'm sucpicious about that too. To ME, it felt more like it was an axle or driveshaft, but they claim to have placed a new vibration detection tool on the bronco to determine where it's coming from. The last time I dealt with a vibration, it was my GF's new Kia Sorento, Kia had to buy that back.
I didn't read all 8 pages, so I don't know if someone suggested this or not, but I always have my passenger seat set to be exactly the same as where I want to have the driver seat, then if someone moves the driver seat, I can get back very close to where I had it before. I've dealt with that on...
Latest update. They have determined that it's the torque converter, which is a backordered part. They are looking to get one from another dealer, so it appears this will continue for a while. I'll update this if that resolves it.
no real update today, yet. I'm busy at work on a dealine, and I've read the previous comments. I'm afraid that Ecook may be onto something though. They did have my bronco in the shop for 2 hours yesterday and then moved it back to the parking lot and have not contacted me since Tuesday.
My guess is they were just hoping to BS me into thinking that I would just accept it knowing it's not an easy thing to deal with. I had to help an old girlfriend deal with a vibrating KIa Sorento to where Kia finally just let her trade it for a Telluride a few years ago.
I have owned maybe 50 vehicles in my time, and with only a couple of exceptions, they have all been Red, Blue or Black, but for some strange reason, I really liked this green...I didn't at first, but the more I looked at it the more it grew on me until I finally decided that it had to either be...
I made them get a tech to come ride with me last night, and she said she could feel the vibration when I was driving down the road, but she kept telling the service advisor that she needed to drive it again.
allagash24, I actually mentioned that to them last night. I would not be totally...
I recently purchased a leftover new 24 Wildtrack with less than 2000 miles on it, that has what I can describe as a course ride but really what's happening is a vibration that I can feel throughout the vehicle that will numb your hands if you drive it for more than a few miles. The vibration...
Traded my 21 Harley Road Glide for a 24 Mustang GT because I basically got to the point that I rarely got to ride, and when I did, I was alone....then Sold the Mustang and purchased a new Bronco last week....so, no longer on two wheels, but do miss it from time to time.
