Yup. I hate electronic e brakes. My new Mustang doesn’t have a hand brake and it’s total BS. I wanna eliminate the electronics brake and install a past gen mustang hand brake. I don’t care if i get a dash light.
Well just ordered the Ford Performance Diff Cover. Wondering if you can reused the reusable gasket from the stock one or you should buy a new one before you install this? Thanks
I don’t have an ELD in the rear and I’m only a 3.73 axle ratio. You think i could get away with 110 in the rear and 90 up front seeing as I probably won’t be using 4wd much and it will majority be in 2h. Thanks for any input. I have some left over new stock 75w-90 and would like to use it up. lol
Ive used Supertech Synthetic in my F150 2.7 and it was still working at 5k oil changes thanks to oil analysis data. I’ve used Pennzoil Platinum in my Mustang 5.0 with good oil analysis at 5k changes. I’m now trying out the new Quaker state ultimate protection which is in my 24 Mustang 5.0...
So here is my take from years of research and reading. The 2.3 Ecoboost is direct injection only. It’s more needed IMO but again not necessary. You will regardless have to clean the back of the valves with a walnut blast eventually. A catch can or top tier fuel won’t help that problem. You need...
anyone who knocks QS knows nothing about oil. As far as Mabett it seems popular on here. I have their mid guards too. All from seeing posts about them here. I know there are metal door pockets but they don’t fit what i need in design and overpriced for what they are. The plastic bumper is...
Oil change and rear door pockets from Mabett. Sunday I did the RC Nudge Bar. Got it open box with 4 OSRAM lights from extreme terrain. Paid 175. Just had some scratches through the paint. Fixed that with a few coats of rustoleum. I’ll put the lights on eventually. My daughter helped me install...
Hey vets. I’m still active but a Vet of OEF. USCG Almost 19 yrs in. Chief Electricians Mate. Happy to see a big vet community with the Bronco. Got my new 23 in early February. It’s not my daily it’s my wife’s but I got it for me to enjoy too. I got a 24 Mustang GT as my daily.
I’m gonna eventually get some Rocktrix wheels with 285/70/17 tires on my Big Bend. It’s a 33” tire on a 17x9 wheel. I don’t need more than a 33 for my use.
The 2.3 has been in Mustang since 2015 in various iterations obviously little changes have been made and the 2.7 in the F150. Any mass production vehicle is gonna have issues. I’ve been in the F150 pages and forums since 2009 and the 2.7 has been super reliable. It had a bad run but that can...
Definitely some good info in here. I’m gonna run 75w90 in the front and 75w110 in the rear since ones doing more work and I have enough new Valvoline 75w90 for the front from my F150 i traded in. I’ll probably run Supertech Mercon LV in the TC since it is approved and i used the oil at 5k oil...
Ok so i got a new 2023 last month. My dipstick shows oil 1/4 over the top dot. I’ve seen threads with others having this issue. Below is a pic of the owners manual available to me on my FordPass app. It’s a 3-10-2023 date. Yet you are saying it’s now 7 qts as of Dec 2023. Why don’t i have an...
My vote is for the 2.7 Eco due to Port/direct injection and it’s more powerful when i need to tow. Tow ratings are the same but ones gonna do it better and get better fuel economy when it’s working less hard. I’m also more familiar with it having had it in 2 F150s and liking it. If the 2.3 was...
