Usually I'm a very aggressive driver, but with the Bronco I've been trying to drive slow and conservative to see how good the mileage can be. I'm sure if I start gunning it and driving aggressively on the highway, the mileage will drop to what you've been averaging.

I used 93 for the first 2000 miles on my 4Dr 2.7L Sasquatch and got 17 mpg. I used cheap regular fhe next 2000 miles and got 17 mpg. I was quite surprised to not see any difference in mileage. I only buy the cheap stuff now. I think the salesman was trying to save you $$.
