Was curious if anyone knows when the tie rods were beefed up by Ford.
I have a stamping FoMoCoG272K and was curious if these are the normal ones or the updated tie rods from Ford.
Installed a 50/50 Turbosmart BOV and seems like it’s down 2-ish PSI. Has anyone else experienced a difference in PSI after a BOV change up?
I will admit that it does seem more responsive in boost at tip in.
I am on a stock tune for now still.
What about boost response, does it not recirculating fully back affect the spool response.
I’m going to pull the trigger on the ZFG tune but that might be a little bit yet.
To plumb back or not? I know usually the manufacturers that have recirculating BOVs you have to keep recirculating back even when you upgrade the BOV. VW Audi are a few that the ecu can get unhappy unless tuned out if you go to an open atmosphere BOV.
