Very nice build and mods.
Very close to mine yet to be delivered.
Thanks for the write up!.
one questionā¦.why donāt Ford mudflaps rear fit Badlands?
ā¦.would also directly ask the servicing dealer what, if any, codes were thrown. I suspect a brake booster failure would throw a code and be at least somewhat diagnostic.
Rightā¦.Iām just trying to calm down the masses here somewhat by explaining what a brake BOOSTER failure means.
Iām in no way suggesting that FOMOCO not address this issue.
Hereās an exercise and a possible teaching opportunity for everyone:
with no traffic or obstacles about, and sitting on a substantial hill or incline, without starting your vehicle, put it in Neutral, allow to roll and apply brakes - this is unboosted brake function.
Brake boosters should be, and all are AFAIK, designed in such a way that in the event of a booster failure there is still unboosted brake function, that will by definition require more pedal pressure but still apply braking to the wheels.
With that in mind, have to ask OP if there was any effect...
On the subject of corrosion protection, coming from the General Aviation world I plan to use CorrosionX - much less sticky, easier to apply, smells pretty good (LOL). Some may see the less sticky as a downside but it seems to creep and penetrate everywhere water and brine might. On my airplane...
ā¦.while youāre at it think hard about jacking points on a Bronco.
A good bottle jack will be in my Bronco.
The HighLift gets used for pulling T-posts on the farm.
