Actually went to do that but got a message from the app that said “sorry, we are having technical difficulties” and wouldn’t let me change. My password was already super complex but anything can be hacked.

Have heard of that actually and would consider the possibility but we were literally parked in the middle of our 80 acres of remote land with nobody within 3/4 of a mile. Just strange.

Sorry you don’t like me sharing this but, it happened. Whether you like it or not sitting right there, no app open, no key anywhere near anyone, and it started, all by itself. It happened.

🤣 that’s actually the first thing I went to. Checked with my kid inside and she was nowhere near my key, or phone. Phone was with me anyway.

Had forgotten about that. Definitely had the watch on but not aware that gloves of clothing were activating things on my watch (have had that happen before). However, you have to press and hold, either the watch or phone app, to start. Seems unlikely I did that but, possible I suppose.

Sitting outside today, about 40 feet from my 2021 FE, key in the house, when the vehicle started all by itself! Wife and I both observed this and asked each other if we had done something. Checked the key in the house and it was hanging, securely in the key box. I didn’t have the app open...

This is the way. Mine was built way back in mid-August 2021 and no status change until it just showed up on 11 November 2021. Just sit back and chill. Then, enjoy the ride when it finally arrives! Well worth the wait, at least it certainly was for me.

Wish I could add that to my ‘21 but mine was one of the builds that doesn’t have the threads holes on the back side of the roll bar.

I have the EXACT same experience (2021, FE, ~12K miles)! Thought it was the window forever and did all kinds of trouble shooting. Just recently started to think it was the seat. Going to try to seatbelt tucking recommendation to see if that helps. Thanks for starting this thread!

Same here. CarPlay connectivity has been finicky since I took delivery in Nov 2021. Will go through stages where it connects first time, every time. Then, a run where I’m always having to fiddle with it to get it to connect. 🤷‍♂️
