I guess another odd question: With the Ford AXZ plans, they supposedly show dealer cost on the invoice to you (do I have this right)? if so, do they show you ALL dealer costs such as warranties?

It might possibly all come down to cost vs expected issues. I know we can not control future issues but we can negotiate a better cost.

I live in NW IA and one of my coworkers has purchased multiple vehicles from: https://www.marthalerfordofworthington.com/ I emailed them and recv'd a reply. I will shop them but may not make them my "preferred" dealer because of distance. I have no personal experience though. Sorry.

I always keep mine a looong time. I did read in the attached article that the extended's cost is negotiable. May be a possibility. I also (as has been stated before) run doorless and topless through all weather as my daily driver and waterproofness of all interior electronics will be important...
