Already owned a Wrangler, G wagon would’ve been an option but just had a kid, so budget doesn’t work., defender is the best thing at the moment.
FE black interior- having a hard time justifying $65k, the leather is awful, further delays, no numbered badges.
I’m shopping defenders again ands it’s because of Ford.
My window of opportunity is closing fast with my lease ending Oct 21 and it looks like my FE is a Last Edition now, what a bummer.
MRP should tell us what is realistic for 21’.
Why can’t Ford manage expectations with this info and give us a yay or nay for a 21 build?
Let’s us use the Ford cash to buy a softy top, have wiring setup for hard top and take delivery of first edition with soft top, wait for hard top delivery.
I don’t know the history between Webasto and Ford but this issue should’ve been caught during the RFP process.
No excuses Ford. Give all FE holders a soft top with the wiring setup for a hard top.
