I would have no reservation using the 10” sub due to its more shallow properties. It would let you lower everything by a quarter inch too. I think as long as you seal it airtight, it will sound amazing.
Thank you, my friend. I may build a version 2.0 to see if I could squeeze a half inch or even an inch out of it. That JL audio 12 inch only has about a half inch of clearance before it starts rattling off of the flooring. Still sounds great though.
Not sure we're on the same page. I don't have a rattle while driving. In fact it is tight when the door is closed. My problem is that it wobbles very loosely upon opening the door.
Last night I noticed that when I open my door, the dang glass makes a wobbling sound. Almost like the rubber support on the hinge side isn't stabilizing it. Passenger side is tight. Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks! Yeah, no problem. I went with two pairs of the Kicker 47KSC404 for dash and rear and Kicker 47KSC6704 for the kick panel from Crutchfield. You could spend a grand on better speakers, but these seem to handle the power from the amp very well. If you're not using an amp, you'll want to...
Dammit I wish I would’ve seen your post here on how you did the AC3 knob. I installed mine with the lights in the same spot, but now I regret having the lights and I like the way you centered everything. Your ass looks way more pro. Great job! Now, I want a do-over!
Howdy everyone! I recently installed a decent amp and subwoofer (see my other post on that) but then I had the challenge of placing the base knob somewhere. Knowing me, I hate things that look ghetto if you know what I mean. In fact, if you’re spending $50-70k on a bronco I’m sure you feel the...
The fit is perfect but it would’ve been a level application if the enclosure was only 4 1/2 inches tall. So the enclosure is 1 inch higher than the seats folded down. I’m not mad at the trade-off based on how well it sounds.
