I don't see the big hype about colors if I were to want ford to push something specific. You could always wrap a part on a Bronco for a relatively inexpensive cost. Features like a manual with the 2.7L or factory 37" tires are something that would be a more significant cost that you can't just...
There's a place out by me that does E-85 full conversion for the 2.7L Ecobooth on the F-150. I messaged them asking if they would do the same with the Bronco and my response was yes, as soon as we get our hands on them they will start to test and tune. I can't wait to see what numbers they get...
Don't forget those big V8 engines weren't really pushed either as far as power. I feel like the 2.3L with some bolt ons and a tune would be pushed and wouldn't last as long before it needs a rebuild. Just my opinion, no facts behind it.
That 2.0L turbo though is stronger then their N/A V6. Then you usually see the Jeepers change out gears. I will opt for the larger 2.7L from the start. Of course there will be performance upgrades you can do such as just bolts ons and a tune that can get you up there in power on the 2.3L
I know there are full E-85 swap kits already out for the 2.7L in the F-150. I did message a shop near me that does them as well as tuning for it and they said as soon as they get their hands on one they will start the tune and full E-85 swap process for the Bronco! I can’t wait!
