Passenger side bushing did have to be knocked in but didn’t take a lot of force. I think they will do their intended job so overall I’m happy with the RC bushings. Can’t beat the price for some added insurance.
For installation tip just watch the tie rod end going into spindle. Mine started...
I just got done installing the drivers side and taking a break before finishing up on the passenger side. The bushing just pushed in without having to use a tool to get it in. Definitely not tight tolerances. I had more trouble with the snap ring than anything. Didn’t push in and snap like the...
So did anyone come up with the best clamp to use? My RC bushings will be here tomorrow but I forgot all about the clamp. Need to install before Friday since going to an off-road event.
Thanks Bigguyry2000, I’m somewhere between 2-3” lift. I’ll look for panhard bar for more info. So will it just limit the rear articulation with this much lift if I don’t account for it with an adjustable bar/bracket?
VIRUS, that’s the springs I have and I agree they handle very well. With 37’s...
So how do you know if you need an adjustable track bar or just the bracket?
From rock jock:
You’ll find this bracket necessary on lifted vehicles that feature heavy additions above the roof or behind the tailgate.
Does anyone have Dv8 shock skid plates with Eibach Pro 2.0 coil overs or any other aftermarket coil overs? Also since they cover the lower link, anyone with aftermarket links and DV8?
I have the 550# springs on my pro 2.0’s. I didn’t know they had that many options. Panda motorworks installed the 550’s prior to me putting them on. I have the ARB Summit and winch. (So about 230lbs). Have fronts maybe 3/4 way to max and rears 1/2 way. Alignment guy said angles looked good with...
I got 3” in the front but I also swapped to heavier springs for the bumper/winch. That’s also measuring after already having the bumper/winch on it which lowered the front about an inch. I turned the front a few turns from the factory setting. Still a lot of threads left to go higher. When...
This Ram mount is very stable. It even has extra hooks to make it even more secure. A lot of people use on motorcycle handle bars. I got handle mount on Amazon but changed out the cheap phone holder to RAM. Can put in with one hand.
Wanted to wait a while before adding lift and tires but could wait no longer. 4700 miles in. Eibach Pro 2.0 coil overs, 37 12.50 17, ARB Summit bumper, RCI roof rack.
Thanks for y’all’s help. Got it done. Wasn’t terrible except I sure wish they put studs in the top hat instead of bolts. That was the hardest part. Now to get it aligned.
