Here are the pics. They indeed are ready to paint OBX OEM Flares. I don’t believe the Ready to paint Sasquatch flares are even available. Either way I love the look. Very happy I did it.

Appreciate it. Will post pics when I pick her up. I thought long and hard about doing it. And I really wanted to see pics of an FE with painted flares and I could not find any.

I will confirm tomorrow when I pick it up. I know it was hard to find them. And I clearly am keeping the originals to switch back and forth when I feel like having a different look.

I’ve done the math for shits and giggles. Once you sell it for 100k you end up with somewhere between 14-20k profit depending on your tax bracket (in and out). Then you have no bronco and if you want one again u need to overpay someone else.

Rarity is the key. And also super important to leave as many things standard as they come from Ford. Anyone who makes major modifications to an FE will love them while they enjoy it but will suffer when they try to sell it.

Wow. That’s a great deal. Buying new flares is crazy but I guess with non textured paint it’s a must. Like you I just don’t know how I feel about all of the different shades of black. In person were your original flares exactly the same shade as the mic top?

How much did they get you for for the flares? Buying a new set of primed OEM flares is 1180 just for the parts!

I ordered them from my dealer as well. And the dealership will get their body shop or an affiliated one to do it. All in im guessing this will be $1600 to do it. I like the look a lot of body painted flares. But is it worth the money? Will it look that much better. So confused. I really just...

Looks very good. I’m thinking about buying a new set of OEM unpainted flares to paint body color for my lightning blue FE. I haven’t seen too many pictures any one with pianted flares with the MIC top so I’m unsure. If anyone has actual pics please post.

Any views on whether to get OEM paintable flares and paint them body color for the FE? I want to do it but I’m not certain i will love it. Lightning blue. I’d keep the original flares and would be able to interchange them. But is it worth the cash.

Check out the app called GetUpside. It uses GPS and Partners with a ton of gas stations. Discount of about 30-40 cents per gallon. You get cash back to the app and then you can send it to your bank account. Adds up over time.

Seems like a decent price for a souped up FE considering where some other stock ones are trading. Crazy that I’m even writing that.

Built email arrived early am today. Finally. Eta pushed back from 11/12-18 to 11/19-25. At least in my case the fact that I didn’t get the email a few weeks ago indicated that the process was held back for whatever reason.

Im in production as well. No email. Dealer said it’s built and awaiting shipment. 11/12-11/18 eta. Ford is just messy with their communication.

Congrats. Nada for me still. Oh well. Hopefully it’s on the same train/truck.
