I had the Terra Grapplers on my Ridgeline for 6 years and they did great on ice, snow, and mud. The rubber seems a touch gripper below 32F than the old ones. I might replace my Open Range SNow Rated with those in the future.
Think I get it. The whole two door vibe is the older person, "I identify as a two door user." At least some have latched onto that.
In the end it's just an SUV with off road perks, get what fits your needs. I could make a two door work but it's not my identity. I chose four door because it has...
I had a 10 year old boy grabbing his dad's sleeve and pointing at my truck and saying, "Dad it's a bronco! It's soo cool!"
I have the 4 Door Badlands in Area 51. Other than that, nothing lol. I'm rarely in town though.
There are multiple top options available after market. Ford should fix the top but it's one of a handful of vehicles you can just REPLACE THE ROOF YOURSELF.
Laters though.
They are expensive but they look so good!
BTW those fenders what are those?
And I will be upgrading to the powered softtop for my four door in about two years.
I replaced the OG battery because Start / Stop went off (Which in the manual means the battery doesn't stay above 50 percent total capacity). 4.5 years in it never left me stranded but I don't want it to strand me in sub zero temps this winter.
Replaced and reset the BMS and good to go again.
I got 35's Non OEM on my non SaS Badlands and settled at 37 Cold PSI. I get the balance of good MPG but low enough for a bit of cushion the tread is even across the tire so.
Stellantis. Poor Jeep Owners.
My very first impression was Jeep Renegade grown up and dealing with childhood trauma. It looks like they trying to do the silouettes of both a Land Rover, and bronco at the same time.
I can imagine how old school Jeep Owners feel, watching them wreck the brand...
2021 Badlands NoN SaS with 35's (Forscan Speedometer Adjustment done to match GPS Speed). 2.3 I4 and 10SPD Auto.
Cruising with Low Wind at 65MPH shows my instant MPG around 25MPG but with speed up and slow down on highway or light grades, I average about 21-22 MPG Comfortably.
I use Premium 91...
Yeah thats what I want to do, add Zoom Calls into my car lol.
I'm sure the camera watching me the entire time while driving won't be extra data sold to insurance companies without my knowledge.
Should have been called the Bronco Mach E XD.
That aside I like some of the design elements that could show up in a future bronco. Like the Modernized Spare Tire Mount.
The whole point of a bronco is the removable doors and top though.
I haven't had snow here yet. I will have to update this winter lol.
They are highly rated for snow. So I hope they work well. I have Chains and Snow Socks just in case.
The snow rating is good for the rubber material right? So basically the compound stays more soft during cold weather, and the...
