That's a steal! I have some early pics of my Bronco without the deflector, and it looks weird without it. Can't imagine rolling around without it. Seems like it helps to deflect bugs, rocks, debris, etc., but I have Dynoflex on my windshield too (way too many construction vehicles in Austin).
For sure - the Kicker Key amps are awesome. I have a 200.4 and it's the MVP of the whole setup - speakers were an ok upgrade, but it didn't come alive until the 200.4 went in. Plus, the Kicker sub + 500.1 will provide a ton of punch. And then you've got a solid foundation that'll give you...
I'd stay away from other shop option #1 - reason being, the stock amp runs out of gas pretty quick at higher volume, and then clipping starts to set in. No speakers will be able to avoid that.
The biggest question would be what you're looking for in terms of audio detail. The Kicker KS system...
I like the sound of the Borla. I ended up going with Magnaflow’s catback because I wanted the high-tuck and didn’t want to wait for Borla to release theirs. Still happy with it though. Brings the depth of sound that the stock exhaust sorely lacks.
I told my kids that a series of large mirrors deploy from the roof every time I switch the camera on. The first time I told them, they jumped out of the car (while stationary) to check. Hilarious!
I thought that too when I was looking around in the speaker cavities! So far, the polyfill hasn't moved around. I used enough to completely fill the cavity; you'll know you've used too much when it gets difficult to re-insert the speaker. It made the biggest impact in the front dash (you'll...
Yeah, leave them in. The Audiofrogs are a great speaker but they try to over-perform in the low end department without any bass blockers or high-pass filters engaged; the distortion will be noticeable. I used 600hz bass blockers with mine and had the HPF on the Kicker set to 60hz; it was a...
When I had the GS42's up front, I used a pliers to cut right down the center of the mounting hole's "ear" - this gave me the ability for the screw to catch onto the mount. I think I used some washers as well to make sure it was secured properly. It's not perfect, but it held for the time that...
If you're not ever going to off-road, the Defenders are a fine choice. Had them for quite a bit on my previous car, and they were great. Quiet, efficient, capable on dry/wet/snow, and long-lasting.
I might be one of the first to put the BFG Trail-Terrains on my Outer Banks (275/65/18)...
Hi All! Looking for OEM roof rack/rails for a 4-door. If you're in Austin area or even slightly farther out (I can travel a bit to pick up), let me know!
Shoutout to @broncogal21 for having her Bronco featured in the latest Crutchfield catalog! She's been pretty good about posting progress in this forum, but very cool to see it all come together.

Nope - height-wise, the 275/65 is the same as the 255/70, which is great because there's no speedometer difference (I'm guessing my mpg will take a hit in some way though). Main difference is that they're almost an inch wider, but haven't had any issues in that department yet.
I think it was a typo; Badlands have 285/70/17 KO2s stock.
OP you should be fine - link below was from a fellow member who did it a while ago. Sounds like the only difference is in the speedometer, but it's not a massive difference. They should look great! I just put bigger tires on my OBX...
Hi All!
Finally got around to one of the biggest items on my to-do list - getting rid of the stock Bridgestone Duelers!
After nearly a month of intense research, I decided on the BFGoodrich Trail-Terrains. Reason being - I have a set of Black Diamond takeoffs on the way that I'm going to use...
Minor thing, but I wish I would have added Advanced 4x4 so I could have 4 auto. Not a huge thing (especially since TX doesn't often get a lot of slippery icy weather), but it'd be nice to have available. I think it's more of a crutch since my last car (Element) had the real-time 4wd, and it...
+1. The Key amp will give the dash speakers enough power that they will be driven into distortion if you drive them hard enough - the stock unit will also distort the speakers at high volumes, but that's more amp clipping than anything else. The only time you wouldn't need bass blockers with...
