The JK wranglers have 18.6 2 door and 22.6ish 4 door. Four gallons is about 70 miles of range on the wrangler. The two door doesn't get any better mileage on highway, because it's still a brick. Now, tailgate a semi on the interstate and you can pull 24-30mpg all day.
Some background on changes in the wrangler structure that were also considered for the bronco design: https://www.allpar.com/threads/2019-jeep-wrangler-in-depth-convertible-roadster-or-fixed-roof.229839/
From discussions on wrangler forums, I believe you can get in trouble in Pennsylvania for doors off.

Thingiverse is full of interesting stuff to 3D print if you're into that kink (it's a bronco emblem):

All sorts of Bronco stuff on there already.
Not only do you have to have the battery power, but you need enough nonvolatile flash memory in the system that can be written over and over. When this memory fails from operations, you don't want the car to become inoperable, so it's probably got to be a separate module.
Flash memory lasts a...
I still have my jeep wrangler. Living in TN, there's no annual property tax and registration for plates is only around $20/year unless you opt for a specialty plate. It's great for serious offroad and deep snow. I don't daily drive mine anymore. It's more for fun and when weather gets real...
I figure around level 7 or 8 you should be building a rock bouncer or something. My jeep wrangler rubicon is almost 7 years old and it's paid for. I still don't want to roll it down a cliff, though. These vids are on 32" BFG KM tires.
Crawling vids with my daughter usually being loud:
Heat in the rotors will be proportional to the work done slowing or stopping the vehicle. Riding the brakes while crawling isn't going to make the heat that slowing from 100-50mph repeatedly will produce. If a driver with a manual is heating up the brakes because they're riding them, that's on...
Looks to me like it has large six lug hubs that make the rotor diameter look small. You don't need big rotor faces if they are large diameter. The clamping and friction force being applied at a larger radius will give you more braking force. If you were going to make laps around a road track...
Enough of this happens and dealers are going to have plenty of retail stock. Many of the hardcore, I gotta have it bronco fans are going to be pushed into MY22. Hrmmmm...
Their new owners are killing SRT, sort of. IFS is on the way!

If Ford can make an electric SUV and call it a mustang, Jeep can probably make an IFS SUV and call it a wrangler. Who knows. The solid axles on wranglers make lifting, articulation, and fitting bigger tires relatively cheap and easy. I know most buyers of wranglers today don't care much about...
Having worked in high voltage electric utilities in both transmission and distribution, the real issue with everybody having an electric car will be the distribution grid, particularly in neighborhoods. They typically aren't built for everybody's Tesla to draw 10kW all night long. That's only...
My 2020 STI has manual seats. My 2015 Wrangler has manual seats. The wrangler manual seats use a jacking mechanism to raise and lower the seats. I also have manual windows and side mirrors. It makes the doors very easy to handle when taking them off and putting them on compared to power...
