Jk is an older model, by at least 5 years. We are comparing it to the JL. Most will concede that it is way nicer than Jeep’s previous gen.

It works differently in the Bronco, doesn’t drop at all before the door opens. Just hooks the weather stripping above the window line and then shakes the window as it opens.

I get that everyone with a Mustang says it works. I’m just wondering if it works the same way. Does it catch the weather stripping at the top of the door frame every time you open your mustang door?

Here’s to hoping the aftermarket can correct this, I’m thinking Ford is probably more concerned with the MIC top at the moment and will have the dealers solution be a patch kit, like the ones my Mom would sow on the knees of my jeans in the 80’s
