Will do a better video tonight. Trying a reupload with a muted video. youtube copyrights suck.
On the last alignment, I know the LCAs were pushed out pretty much all the way. I'm not sure if I can get the alignment numbers, but I'll ask the shop if they have a record.
It is under warranty, of course. But 2 things:
1. I don't like waiting 2 months for an appointment just to get a "can't replicate issue" and "you have aftermarket components". Even if it's something they can fix under warranty, it will probably take another 4 months for them to do it. I'm not...
No question is dumb. Tires rubbing was my very first thought. I do have the crash bars removed (because if I crash I want to suffer maximum damage, cry, and complain about it later). The noise I have is a very loud metal-to-metal clang that doesn't always happen at full lock. It is when I go...
To all that mentioned tire rubbing, It's not tire rubbing. The noise I have is a very loud metal-to-metal clang and happens before full lock, even when the vehicle is not moving. Visually the UCA shifts rapidly, and quite violently along the axis of bushings. I understand there should be a bit...
I do have a very loud metal-to-metal thump, and a pretty violent shift in the driver side UCA. The video and its copyrighted blah music do not do justice. I'm looking for a GoPro today and will try to make a proper video.
And I do agree on the stock UCAs being a solid part. It may not even be...

Hey all,
Long story short (and lessons yet to be learned) - Upgraded my Base 2dr suspension with Eibach 2.0 and 35 Methods+Mickey Thompsons, and now my *Upper control arm bushings are toast after about 3000 hwy miles.*
What is...
I have the 2.3 4banger paired with a manual. I run about 30 psi (warm) tires and IF I don't drive like an ass, I get 18..19.. But my average over a 40-mile round-trip commute across a small mountain(hill) is about 15 mpg. I've realized that the 2.3 gives good mpg when running on a higher gear...
I do my deletes because of my two 120 lbs dogs, Home Depot, Costco, Skiing runs, dead bodies and shovels, etc.
Now that I'm a father, I would like my daughter to safely enjoy the Bronco with me and my wife. I have the rear seat delete plywood cut 50/50. I can reinstall 1 seat and still have a...
Method MR703 GLS Titan 17x8.5 with the default wheel offset (forgot what it was) and also ordered the TPMS sensors.
LT315/70R-17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T E - Proven to be terrible on mud (I almost slid sideways down a cliff. Good grip on rocks. Awesome on the highway. Awesome in the...
So whenever I do rear sear deletes I am careful to remove components in a way that I cna put them back in. I did not cut the rear seat mounting studs (althought they are the piece that sticks out the most).
I have also made the rear plywood in a two piece type a deal with rubber seals around...
That is an amazing combo! Both vehicles look great, and the Tudor is deffinitely classier. We could only dream of our Bronco's lasting this many years, even with exceptional care.
God knows how many regulations make it illegal or financially non-viable to have a two seater option.
But hey -We got sawzalls, plywood, fingers and time to lose.
To be truly honest, I have mixed feelings about the coilovers. They perform great both on the road and off the road. However, after putting about 7 8k miles on them, front left dropped by ½ inch. The issue I have with this particular model is they don't have a lock collar or a screw to "lock"...
Hello there,
I recently had the chance to purchase a Base, 2 door, manual Bronco, that I gave the name Burronco.
So far I was able to give it a few minor ulgrades:
Eibach 2.0 Coilovers
Method wheels (in matching donkey gray)
Mickey Thompsons (because mud, snow, small cars, etc.)
Oracle...
