  1. Anyone refinanced lately?

You must have misread the original post. The OP financed the Bronco in Dec 2021 per the posting, the same time I financed mine, thus sub 2% rates were in existence at that time. Also what was said was that the monthly payment is $1,000. This is accurate for a 5 yr loan of $50,000+ at the 6+%...
  2. Anyone refinanced lately?

You weren’t very smart with your financing choice. I financed in Dec 2021 at 1.9% w/BofA. current lowest % rate in my area is 5.75% using a couple of credit unions. IMHO , you are stuck with what you have.
  3. Insurance for Offroading

Many insurance carriers have re-worded the racing exclusion to also include any instance of damage whether a sanctioned event or not, or just testing a vehicle on a track that is not a racing event. See attached State Farm policy exclusion
  4. any recommendations on a jump starter?

I have 2 identical Halo Bolt Jump Starters. They have started a Range Rover, Mercedes S Class, Chev Silverado, and various other models with smaller engines. It works perfectly and holds a charge forever. It provides piece of mind in not needing a 2nd vehicle if the dead battery happens to be...
  5. Re: Extended Warranty in 2022 Ford Bronco

Zach……Aquestion for you in that you cannot sell a warranty to someone in California, but if a California resident used a family member’s address in Arizona, would you make the sale of an extended warranty?
  6. Low value on used Bronco

Yes, you are correct……along with a slew of added fees to the cost of registration. I just paid $577 to renew my 2021 Bronco registration and $227 to renew my 2013 Honda Pilot registration. Just another revenue source to be misappropriated into nowhere’s land!
  7. Low value on used Bronco

California does not recognize any trade in reduction, thus the sales tax is based on the full sales price of the vehicle, and also based on your residence address sales tax rate no matter where you buy
  8. New Bronco, Dealership avoided Ford Credit option like the plague

Just because dealers may get kickbacks or offer customer incentives doesn’t always mean the consumer is getting charged for it. When I bought my Honda Pilot in 2013, Honda Financial offered an additional $1,000 discount in using them along with 0.9% interest for 5 yrs. For those paying cash, the...
  9. Need help on understanding Ford extended warranty.

What has not been said is that a 5 year 60,000 mile Powertrain Warranty applies, thus any powertrain issues that arise during the powertrain warranty period apply, and the extended warranty kicks in once the powertrain warranty period is exhausted
  10. Older window sticker

I have a CarFax car care app on my phone (came at no cost) and my listed Bronco has a no cost CarFax report link attached to the reported service records which includes a Monroney attached. Go to your Smartphone App and search for CarFax Car Care
  11. Hey guys, trying to price out a 2024 badlands with the lux package and leather seats. Does this wuote seem reasonable?

The $605 in Fees is based on a lease, not purchase. The site defaults to a lease acquisition rather than an outright purchase.
  12. 2025 MSRP & Invoice

I worked with Granger back in late 2020 before the initial order banks for the 2021 models ever opened. Obviously they have upgraded their sales systems as when I talked with them, for a Calif purchase back then, they would provide a temporary plate for transit of the vehicle out of the...
  13. 2025 MSRP & Invoice

Other things you’ll need to know about bringing an out of state purchase to California 1) you will need to have the Bronco smogged in order to register it in Calif. 2) you will need to pay sales tax as part of the registration process. If you paid sales tax to Granger, Calif will charge for the...
  14. Wide angle blind spot mirrors to add to side mirrors

I feel the same way you do and have the nice alert on the mirrors. I have heard that gge mirror material is different and that attempting to remove/replace the “bubbles” actually damages the glass type material, thus I’d advise against adding those stick on side view “bubbles”
  15. Stroppe Edition Bronco Spied in First Real-Life Look 📸

Don’t forget the non power brakes that took a 1/4 mile to stop when wet from the rain. At least I had an aftermarket under dash air conditioner. Those skinny tires made for an adventure to drive at speeds above 60 mph, but once taller/wider tires were added, stability improved 1000%.
  16. Totaled?

Your insurance company will make the determination if it’s a total. The other issue besides cost of repair is going to be the time it takes to obtain the parts. Insurance companies have totalled vehicles due to the lengthy time it takes to get parts.
  17. Socal dealer recommendations

I also purchased my Bronco from Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego and dealt with Eric Bunch, the Internet Sales Director. It was best best buying experience and I would highly recommend contacting Eric for your needs.
  18. What's your most under-used feature?

I have a Molle panel mounted on the swing gate. I keep mounted a first aid kit, a tire gage, my Bronco tool kit, a Halo portable jump starter, and a pair of gloves.
  19. Ford stole $1,300 worth (262k points) of reward points - empty hardtop promises.

I use my points at the dealer parts counter to buy maintenance filters. That’s a small pittance for the amount of points that you have…..but on the other hand if you don’t have a Bronco Visa card, your points expire in 12 months if no activity
  20. Software update next week??

This latest update was weird. I have a 2021 OBX w/auto updates set for early Sunday morning. However a couple of days ago my wife called me as an alert that when she started the Bronco the center screen remained dark for several minutes while driving then came back on with the update complete...
