I'm pretty excited that we're all going to finally get to see what Ford has in store for us! And that shortly after the new year, I'll have a second set of bronco keys. I'm also excited that this crazy forum group understands all the elements of this photo:
Twas the night before bronco
And all through the land
All creatures still stirring
Too many visions off offroading, overloading, and wanderlust to be had.
I and the wife had just settled in for a midsummer night's nap, but alas sleep couldn't find me, as visions of options and paint colors...
Agreed!
As a fifth gen Bronco lover, it was easy for me to want a roll down rear window. But Ford is buiding the sixth gen using mainly the first gen as it's muse. The original bronco was the OG ground breaking suv and if a clamshell style rear window was good enough for the OG Bronco, it's...
So... at first I was super disappointed that it seems to be a flip-up rear window not a power up and down one. I was firmly planted in the "that's a jeep copy, and not as good as 5th gen bronco rear window camp!" But as i sit, balled up in the rearend of my 1994 bronco, jumping the broken rear...
Weird thought.
Any chance ford already has plans for a V8, or the Aviator 3.0, or even the 3.5 ecoboost in the Bronco, but it hasn't leaked yet so we don't know it. But somehow Jeep does, so that's why their teasing a 392 hemi? All our excellent forum insiders keep saying we haven't seen...
I think the black diamond reference is to an actual trim package. Probably similar to the altitude package from Jeep, with cold weather options and badging.
Damn,
Now my head's in a pretzel! I love the cactus gray, area 51, velocity blue, grabber blue, and sandstone. Decisions, decisions... Leaning towards area 51 and tan interior with bronze rims so far, but need to see it full size.
I currently have 4 kids, the wife, two dogs, plus gear and carry everything in a yukon xl. The wife is already mad at me for planning on downsizing to the 4 dr Bronco. Since there's basically no chance for bench seats, i gotta figure out where to put the additional kid and gear. Any ideas?
I kinda liked the bronco script on the footwell in today's Instagram "leak", but not sure if I'm sold yet on that being a part of a full frame of some type. I hope the whole frame/door thingy is fully removable, because, at least from this sand obstructed pic, it seems to look kinda dumb... but...
Alright. As much as I love this, can anybody explain what's going with the door frame upper black piece? Also, are those tube doors hidden behind the sand spray or am I seeing things from refreshing and scrolling so much?
The bronco instagram page is following 10 companies/people. One of those companies, Matador, makes adventure travel gear, and is also launching new stuff on Monday... Probably just a coincidence. See link for details:
For me personally, like many others have commented, it's a nostalgia thing mainly. My Pops had a 1994 forest green and tan 351 with a mild lift and alcoa style rims. I loved that truck more than any other. His Bronco is why I currently own a pretty decent 1994 myself. But it's also a...
I feel so complete here. I can finally come out of the pineapple/jalapeno pizza fanboy closet! I have found my people... but not the color for my 21 Ford bronco...
Did you hear the same guy say no customer is gonna punish their bronco as much as Baja...
Bet.
Isn't it built wild? Im planning on fully sending mine. (After i properly baby it for awhile of course.)
