If your looking at a dealer’s inventory, there’s a way to tell if a car is dealer stock versus custom order, no? (Page one, post one? 😳😀). Local dealer lists 18 broncos in transit.
I think I scared my salesman away. I sent a strongly worded, angry email about FMC to him a couple weeks ago. I was clear to not lay any blame at his or the dealer’s feet but I havent heard from him. He’s a young guy— probably no clue what to do with the email. Lol
Just google the Ford Board of Directors and see who is on Twitter and active. I mainly blast Jim Farley and Ford and reply to their tweets talking about how great the F150 Lightning and other stuff is. Youll see other folks on their complaining about delayed production and other things mixed in...
Yes I saw that too and was briefly encouraged but then you see more posts on shipping delays and folks moving from built to shipped and back to production. Clown show
There are a lot of Ford defenders on this board (many Im sure have more knowledge on how things are working at the plants than me) that will argue against this. But damn it just all seems like there is no organization at all, hence why Ford doesn’t communicate. The only thing that appears...
Some of us from 1/17 group have been hitting them - Ford, Jim Farley, BOD members and social media/ marketing execs - on Twitter. We send our own tweets and reply to theirs. You’ll see F150 folks are also getting the shaft. The guy who designed Ford’s social media, but is no longer an...
I havent bothered customer service yet but am now. Make me wait, Im going to keep Ford’s staff busy.
Like others, no information. No EDD. Poor girl is going to get a shit review but hopefully they read my narrative criticisms of FMC not the service rep
I have mild regret not taking the first one with everything that has happened since, but Ive driven Broncos with both engines and wouldnt be happy with the 2.3. No one has ever explained to me why I was told to reorder for 2022. Kind of par for this whole thing though.
Some of you may have seen me tell this story. I sort of screwed myself on this whole thing.
Ford f’d up and said I had to reorder for MY2022 when I had a 2021 VIN, December build. I reordered the same Black Diamond but with the 2.7 engine on second order. My dealer is smaller and didnt have a...
We have been commiserating hard over in the 1/17 group. I feel for you 12/6 folks still waiting.
Funny enough, I sort of screwed myself on this whole thing. Ford fd up and said I had to reorder for MY2022 when I had a 2021 VIN, December build. I reordered the same model but with the 2.7...
July or maybe longer. I have family trip to OBX end of August and would love to have something by then. Ill be looking at dealer inventory up until that point. If I cant find anything, I may hold out and will have to make a decision on keeping the truck or not. Ive never been screwed like this...
Perhaps Im thinking too much on this. My general thought was that newer production, in general, would equal more profit for Ford because there are likely less price guaruntees on those cars or more were built assuming 2022 prices.
Im pretty much at this point. The fact there has been no direct communication from Ford and everything we know has been discerned from higher level statements by Ford executives, pulled from articles or discovered by our own members (example- videos from MAP), I have no confidence the backlog...
Our posts crossed paths and state similar stuff. One ounce of transparency from Ford would go a long way. I wont be happy if were SOL but it would be nice to finally make decisions.
#onWheelsinventory. 53k vehicles end of Q1 being held. Ford is underwater and bitten off more than it can chew with F150 Lightning, Raptor, etc.
Ill be looking for color from today’s shareholder call in hopes Im wrong. But 53K!! Even just processing half of that off the production line...
