question..... did the dealer guy say "well..... this isnt a hand built vehicle like a jaguar" or.. every new vehicle has some imperfections....in a way to diminish your noticing the flaw and preparing a demand to make it right. It is a tactic they all use it seems.

there is some info about the dealer doing a "flash" on the system and it wakes up the rear speakers to full range. maybe search and look for that, see if the dealer can do the flash thing and then decide?
