I am actually mounting the winch on a box channel system with rollers so that the winch can be rolled to the other side of the garage where i can store it safe and my wife wont have to park under the suspended load.
I would love to get the plans for that rigging rack set up. I have a winch i am going to install and am currently mulling though ideas for making one that keeps low profile like that so i can get the roof up closer to the 10' garage ceiling.
I might be interested. I ordered one from Ford for my 2dr. After they took my money, I called and learned it was put on backorder. I need to see if i can cancel that first and secure my refund. Once I can do that, I will take it! It may take a few days for me to see if the money...
I would like to find some chrome head bolts that fit in place of the Torx Plus bolts. I think the Ford advertising pics with the broncos that have all black with the silver/chrome head bolts would look great.
nice job with the home air system! I have a trans air system and piped it in a "halo" above with my compressor up on the mezzanine in the corner to keep sound down. I put two pull downs and an outlet by the bay door. Love that system. .
curious when you found the CG, did you measure back from leading edge? how far back about is it? would be some handy info. you have that thing sitting nice and level.
Nice work!!! I am doing that exact thing. I got that same winch on amazon. I got 20' of box channel and trolley bearing rollers to mount the winch to. The plan is to move the wife's explorer out.... back the bronco in, lift the roof off of it, then trolley the roof over to the other...
