Even with the noise it shifts great. The noise only exists for ours at idle, or in a very low gear under no load. Once any load is applied ours vanishes.
Incorrect, the Badlands comes stock with the BFG's correct, but you absolutely can order those optional wheels with a 285/70-17 Goodyear MT instead of the BFG's. That is a factory setup in that photo.
Ron Tirapelli Ford in Shorewood IL. Mostly seamless, but could tell they hadn't done many Bronco's with the additional Ford pass points or voucher. Honored MSRP, and the trade in was super smooth and we got what Carmax had offered without a single question.
If your expectations are realistic, it's great and worth it. If you are expecting a quiet, cushy, effortless road tripper, or it to compare with a Lexus GX460, you are going to be sorely disappointed. We are happy with ours.
Same here. The Bronco is the wife's, just like our 5th Gen 4runner was. But it also serves mild wheeling and family camping duty. We threw a better set of sliders on it, and I will admit it wheels pretty darn good out of the box. Looking forward to taking it to Moab this spring.

This Bronco is the first non Toyota product in my driveway in almost 10 years. Got rid of our 5th Gen 4runner we owned since new for it. I still have an 87 4runner, an 80 series Land Cruiser, and a Lexus LS. I keep collecting the wheels as I can't decide what wheel I want to keep on my 87
I clicked on this thread as I recognized the wheels from the homepage preview. They look great! I have three different sets of oem 5th Gen 4runner wheels in my attic as we speak.
Ours didn't come untucked, it ripped. Very frustrating, the seat back nets on my land cruiser have lasted 30 years and 300k miles, these pulled apart before the 3k mile mark. Hoping someone just comes up with better netting, we like the net vs a hard pocket.
For a stock out of the box vehicle, I think it does great. For what it is. We replaced a modified 2015 4runner Trail, and after our first wheeling trip a couple weeks ago we seem to drag belly and control arm brackets about as frequently, but the smaller footprint, front locker, and better...
