sumaperformance.com has mirrors which 1) have a different convex* design which reduces blindspots significantly and 2) has not only the OEM heater and (electronic detector) Blindspot Information System (BLIS), also an in-the-mirror dot-arrow turn-signal indicator. It does not blink forwards...
Why just ten pages, let's go for thirty or forty!
"Hey folks, I'm not sure I like my OEM Territory tires. What should I swap them out for? Of course, you don't know what model or trim Bronco I have, or what my driving on pavement or off consists of, or how hard or easy a driver I am, or...
Nicely posed at unpaved spots. You'll get further from pavement than that, I'm sure.
We need a kind of "beyond Subaru range" terminology or rating system.
This may not be what you're looking for, but consider it as an idea: I hooked up a Heretic rock light to the rear cross bar of my Trailrax set up. It's hooked up to both my reverse lights and an aux switch, so it serves doube duty, as an additional reverse light, also (when switched from Aux)...
I went with the Trailrax and the Heretic 40 inch lightbar. Very happy. That Heretic lights up the next county. The other site will sell it at 10% discount, but Trailrax has promotions. Kind of pricey.
On each side bar, I have two Heretic dome lights. These are the same as their rock lights...
Just what I was thinking--add Hunting (elite) so you can tell who owns, controls, or manages the land around you. That would be handy if you need to create a work-around an obstacle.
one at home
one with my tire tools in the truck. I keep it along with some spare lug nuts and a few things in a zip-lock bag, less-likely to go looking for a little place to hide.
Can they be defeated? Theoretically, yes. Realistically, no.
Two per running wheel and three on the spare strikes me as excessive, and they're kind of expensive, but it's your money (and aesthetics).
The point is to make theft of your tires so difficult (tools needed, mechanical expertise...
No issues wit the exhaust. Still starts up with a hesitation, does not want to rev high, and settles to a sputtering idle. I noticed warnings:
change oil soon.
Needs service.
Check 4x4
And the front impact warning (not working) indicator goes on.
One last thing: I'm in a temporary apartment...
I apologize for starting a thread on a very individual problem, but I'm at a loss for where to begin. For starters, I'm in the Northeast blizzard, and blocked in with drifts up to 30 inches. With 4L and both lockers I could probably power through, but...here's what?
Friday and Saturday I drove...
A few more refineries would help. I read that fuel shortages are being resolved with oil (or fuels?) from the Bahamas. One problem is locating vessels that can navigate the Panama Canal. Fuels could originate from Houston and Louisiana, but there is a problem locating ships that can navigate the...
So, I'm side by side at a red light with a Mustang, windows down, we acknowledge each other and chat a little. I said, "You can go faster than me, but I can pull you out of a ditch."
I smiled.
He chuckled.
The light went green.
And he does go faster than me.
Reasonably close to eastern Tennessee is West Virginia. Haven't done it, but want to check it out. There are national forests, private off-road, and the Hatfield-McCoy Trail system. Not sure of the ownership and management (can anybody help here?) but it's an extensive system of various rails...
I'm dealing with a small crack that's purely cosmetic Maybe I can get that repaired, sanded and smoothed, then get the entire grill painted white. I'll give it some thought, thanks!
