Honestly, I think a safer assumption is that manual transmissions will be phased out by lack of consumer demand, rather than safety regulations. The masses just don't want them, and I see them only staying on enthusiast cars, if that.
I'm just thankful I was born in an era where I still have...
This feels like an AA meeting, I'll try it...
Hi Navi, I'm Joey

Jan 21 order
No VIN
No email outside of the recent apology one
No dealer communication
But I've been clean for over 5 days, no thrown chairs and a healthy outlook on non-automative life.
I don't know if any of you travel through the societal landmine of Tik-Tok, but the hate for the new Bronco is strong on there - every video I've seen is a bunch of people in the comments trashing the design and practicality.
I don't know if the younger generation generally just doesn't like...
I heard this live during their Q1 Earnings Call before Ford stock took a dump to $11.
The key takeaways as both an investor and Bronco reservationist, is that the chip shortage is going to be felt all year, possibly next, and the next quarter (2nd) will be the worst.
No good news.
I'm in a similar situation, it's nice to know I'm not the only one. I'm assuming that all dealers by now have (or can find out) their estimated allocation numbers for this year. I don't even necessarily care if I'm 2021/2022, I just want to plan accordingly with my auto situation at home.
As someone who's stared at CG Ranger and Bronco Sport's for more time than I care to admit, it's just grey.
Parking it under an orange streetlamp at night doesn't make it grey orange, it's still just grey 🪨
I fell into this trap as well. As soon as I saw the first real pictures come out, I fell in love with my color. Then I spent months having a fling with every other color. Then I realized I was being ridiculous, and I just went with my original choice.
From your post, it sounds like you...
Welcome! I'm from the Bloomsburg area - maybe I'll see you at Rausch Creek in the new Bronco. There's a Chesapeake Bronco club on the site that chats up other local places if you're interested!

When I select it, I don't see it in B&P. I don't know if it's because it's not an option for the 2door, or if it's some glitch...but it just shows the Bronco without a top.
I get what you're saying, but 190,000 reservations says otherwise. This forum can often be a haven for complainers, so our perspective is a little skewed because we're a rabid enthusiastic fanbase...I think most people will be/are happy with the 6G Bronco, regardless of small details.
I'm getting a two-door for the following reasons:
- It looks more like an actual Bronco.
- It looks more proportional, in my opinion. The 4 door looks like a stretch limo version of an actual Bronco.
- It's cheaper.
- I like driving vehicles where I have as much behind me, as is in front of...
I'd rather assume someone messed up the pricing on their site, vs. some dealer actually trying to charge 6 times over MSRP.
Sure, most dealers would markup if they had the chance, but no one can be absolutely dumb enough in this day-and-age of social media, to markup by THAT much. It's...
Thanks for these articles @rcbickle !! Kinda makes me want a quarterly newsletter..."Chesapeake Bronco Club Digest" so I can reclaim the coffee table that's been overrun by the ole lady.
I remember the "4x4 Sport" decal on the rear side panel of my F150 was $60 to replace when I had to get some body work done. It was then and there I decided to remove the other side, and I've never looked back.
I, for one, welcome these trim 'badges' being stickers - so I can take some floss...
