Finally got her back after an accident. Added a few appearance upgrades so she’s looking a bit less like a Base model. I think the 3rd brake light in the spare is my favorite add so far. It really is plug and play and VERY bright. Link here...
Our sons are in the Coastguard and needed some salient advice on making good decisions. I encourage you all to share this with your clan.
Not all life decisions are easy…
The fronts did not require any Forescan changes on my base. They sounded great immediately
Also, the screws holding my speakers in had what look like a built in washer that grabbed plenty of meat around the tabs on the Polks. I did read on Crutchfeld they recommend removing 2 of the...
I did have to get the Forescan flash to "wake up" the rear pods but I did not have the fitment issue you described. o_O The front dash speakers sounded amazing with just a swap but once I isolated the rear pods a few days later I new I had to have my buddy do his Forescan magic.
Warm enough to pop off the 2 front panels and took the bride out to the range to test out her new Glock 48. Also detailed the interior. The inside was covered in autobody shop dust 😭 Next week is a beach road trip
My .02. Smooth shifting, light clutch pedal. As far as manuals go it is probably the smoothest and least fatiguing one I have ever driven and I have driven everything from f-150, Mustang, BMW, Volkswagen & Honda MTs' over the years throughout the Northeast and now Florida.
Just the 4" speaker. I may replace the pods in the future to accommodate a bigger 6.5" speaker but for now I was on a budget. Got a huge cruise to go on in May with the bride.... I know, 1st world problems LOL!
Received this item on Sunday and it took maybe 20 minutes to install it, mostly because of my fat fingers. Base Bronco with plastic bumper. Quality is TOP NOTCH and it looks great! Also, once installed, it is a 1 minute affair to take it off or reinstall it if you need more approach angle on a...
I would be inclined to say yes. There is another thread hear that clearly shows the B&O speakers are cheaply made one way speakers. The Polks are 2 way and at the mids and highs are VERY clean.
Try the Polks. No bass blocker
needed unless you modify something else. I fell in love with the Polks for the very reason you mention… had them on my FJ 1300. I bought them for the quality sound and also for exactly what you said… I run top off a lot and if rain destroys them I’m not out a ton...
