The Base/manual will have good demand for a while used, dealers wont order many (low margin on base), most will be ordered 2.3/auto or 2.7/auto with big bend and up trim.
I am surprised by the iconic silver take rate, it looks decent on the bronco. Manual take rate is decent, would be nice to see them offer it W/2.7 in the future
Curious to see what you guys are thinking about for last minute order changes. My order is in but I am weighing the options of adding AUX switches and floor mats...
My order is a bare bones base with roof rack.
Pretty similar engines, very efficient for their size. 2.3+manual sells the 2.3 for me. Its proven itself in the mustang platform and Focus RS. I am looking forward to it.
The takeoffs will have some resale value (retail ~$700, so used a few hundred less than that), it would depend on the shop and who's around if someone was willing to give you a decent price for them. I will likely shop the best deal for the tires and get them mounted/balanced somewhere that...
This photo makes the base tires look tiny, up close they at least are what you would expect on narrow steelies. Small rubber+fastback soft top= definitely not a good look
For those that are sticking with the steelies on the base, what tires are you going with and why? I personally dig the look of the steelies when I see them out and about on Rangers. I have decided I will likely keep them at first but need some tire inspiration. I like the idea of 285/75/16 but...
submitted my order, base, carbonized gray, 7spd, only options are roof rack and canvas bimini (when available), will probably add mats and aux switches
