Should “interested” reservation holders get their order coded “99” while we are waiting for more information on how or if we’ll get to convert to a Raptor?
Current TRD Pro owner (2019)
I like my 4Runner. It’s easy to live with as a daily driver and good enough off road
But the Bronco is lighter, has 60 more horsepower, gobs more torque, and 5 more forward gears
I have no idea what the complaining is about….
nothing felt cheap about the one I rode in at Moab
I wasn’t evaluating the interior appointments because this isn’t a Porsche, but … form follows function … everything felt thought out and rugged.
maybe get a different car for those trips to the...

A 4Runner is NOT a hard top Bronco:
- 40 more hp
- gobs more torque
- five more forward gears
- front locker
- 35s
there’s more, but I think you get the point. Im willing to give up the permanent hard top and brilliant lift gate design for the laundry list of Offroad features that the bronco...
Part of the reason I have a late reservation is cause I love my 4Runner so much
but once I sat down and really looked at the bronco it became obvious it’s so much more than the even the TRDPRO
it starts with 40 more hp, gobs more torque, 5 more forward gears, turbo power (I live in the...
I’m 5’8 and I found the viability to be fine. As in I didn’t notice it, except that the hood was less of an obstruction offroading than it is in my 4Runner ... and that’s not counting the trail cam, which was fricking amazing
IMHO it’ll be a little tougher to work with the car seats than the much maligned minivan (sorry haters, minivans are great when you have little ones and cheaper than “cooler“ cars)
That being said I can’t see the problem. Plenty of room, I believe these will be pretty safe. If you go MGV...
Nope, the lightning just went 2 miles or more through open air, it isn’t going to be stopped by the short gap between the car and the ground.
it’s the metal. The metal provides an easier path than you do, and that should be true of the metal frame.
after watching our driver (in moab) leave it 4L and go zipping around I’m confident the Sasquatch gearing plus auto 10speed will accommodate 33s without any drama
