I did email Nokian and they said they do offer a Hakkapeliitta LT3 non-studded 315/70/17. In case people are concerned about not matching stock tire size for a winter setup.
You could also get a $40 rental car and drive it one way to Des Moines and only be out about $100 with fuel, food and drink. That's my plan at this point. I'm still waiting to hear back from Les Stumpf, but I anticipate driving a fair amount whether I keep my current reservation with Midway...
Two winters ago I drove a lowered S2000 all winter on General Arctic Altimax’s. Driver skill would not have made that feasible. It was the tires. Winter tires are also relatively cheap($500-$600/set) if you don’t buy Blizzak’s or Nokian tires and buy when tire deals are present. You can also...
It’s all about using the proper tool for the job. Sure you can accelerate all day with four wheel drive and all seasons, but stopping and turning are a whole different story. The decrease in stopping distances and increased handling that a winter tire provides is one of the biggest differences...
If this has been talked about already, please link me to the thread and delete this post. From what I'm seeing in package details, it looks like you have to upgrade to the mid package to get a rear view camera with the Bronco. So that would mean Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, and Badlands...
I'm in Stevens Point. Right now I have a 4-door Black Diamond reserved, but might end up switching to a 2-door Badlands when B&P comes out. We'll see. Still undecided on color. Leaning towards Antimatter Blue or Cactus Gray.
I'm currently reserved with Midway Ford Truck Center in Kansas City.
You'll be just fine if you're not super tall. You should also take the additional front legroom into account. My wife's Camry has 41.6" of front leg room and 38.9" of rear leg room and we had zero issues with rear facing clip-in car seat or the rear facing convertible car seat. The Bronco has...
Anyone here order through Bronco Dealer? I messaged him, but I'm guessing he's swamped with emails right now. I just need to know which dealer he's at. Also looking to reserve a Black Diamond since I'm guessing the Badlands will quickly creep into the 50's after options.
I'm not complaining about how Ford has set up trim levels and options. Just trying to figure out why there's an orange Bronco with an all black grille.
Those are 100% not the halo headlights. Either Ford is offering the orange on the Base trim and the literature is incorrect, or they put the wrong grille on a Black Diamond trim.
At first look, it would seem this is a Base model with the Sasquatch Package. But looking at the color, it may be a Black Diamond trim and the grille from the Base Bronco was mistakenly added.
Has anyone seen pictures of the Base interior? A badlands would be nice, but for $50k+, I can pass. The Black Diamond looks quite nice options wise, but the potential price of the sasquatch package is scary. Rims and tires will be ~$2,000, suspension upgrades ~$2,000, $500 rear locker, $500...
I love the Black Diamond trim level, but I wish it came with the front locker and 33's like the Badlands. I'd be curious to see what the price comparison is for a Black Diamond with the Sasquatch Package and the base Badlands Trim. If the Black Diamond with Sasquatch is less than a base...
