That is odd. Same part numbers, different prices and different "usage" descriptions. The prices reflect the amount of functionality but it's odd that they have the same part number.
You're understanding is correct. Those values are the low pass filter range. I've never owned this particular sub enclosure but I have used JL subs and enclosures for decades and I've never had one that I wouldn't highly recommend to my friends and family.
I don't have my wife's Bronco here to check if this is possible or not but in some cars there are holes in the carpet under the seats where things that fall under the seat can disappear into. Like I said, not sure if that's even possible in the Bronco but just a thought.

It's interesting that the hood keeps opening and closing. I would expect that to stay open until they're ready to take it for a test drive. Have you checked the milage to see if they are test driving it?
Is it possible (without blowing up the Bronco ) to loosen the fuel line on the engine side of the fuel pump and then turn the ignition on to see if the fuel pump is in fact pumping fuel?
